The Diner

We visited here one morning during a stay in Middlebury. Our waitress was very helpful. The home fries are deep fried with no dedicated fryer, so they are not safe for Celiacs. They do have gluten free bread. The day we went they were out of gluten free pancake mix which was a bummer.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

They do not understand gluten, and in fact cannot even spell it. They were not sure if their meat was gf. I would not recommend stopping here.

My son and I, who both need to eat gluten free, were so excited to find this hidden gem. Super friendly service, great coffee, delicious breakfast. Gluten free pancakes were light and sweet (and huge). Real VT maple syrup.
