Where to even start! The cashier was very confused. Asked what was gf and not and she was a little confused. I should've walk out then and there.

Served me the sandwich. I ate about half and then they let me know they gave me a non-gf waffle.

I'd completely steer clear if this place and wish I never went!

Absolutely delicious all chicken is gluten free and you can ask for gluten free waffles which were amazing best waffles I've had

I had the chicken tenders and fries and it was so so good! The restaurant is also located in such a fun part of Toronto. The only bummer is that there are no seats; you can eat at the restaurant but you have to stand at a few limited bar tops.

They do have a gluten free waffle iron but I was too nervous to try it because it looked like there was a lot of batter dropped everywhere.

Delicious! I was so nervous when I ordered since the cashier seemed a bit flustered and needed to double check my order. But they clearly have a dedicated waffle iron for gf waffles, all the chicken and cauliflower (gf and non gf) seem to be fried in rice flour. They have the ingredients in front of them at the cash so they’re able to check quickly. I ordered the og on a gf waffle- it was so delicious I came back the next day for the same thing and some cauliflower bites. I did not get sick after- highly recommend!

All the chicken and deep-fried items are gluten free so all the fryers are dedicated gluten-free fryers. The gluten-free waffles are done on a dedicated waffle iron in a separate room from other waffle irons. There is only one GF waffle iron so waffles can get backlogged if you have a lot of GF orders at your table.

The food is great. I'm glad this place exists.

Almost everything here is gluten free with the exception of the regular waffles and the mac salad. Deep fryer is dedicated gluten free. I had breaded cauliflower bites with a sweet kinda thai like sauce and fries. Cauliflower bites were just ok, fries were very good.

Hit the spot! Knowledgable servers combined with a mostly GF menu made for a safe experience. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to indulge.

Went during a busy time and the staff explained to me that everything in their fryers is gluten free and they have a dedicated waffle maker for gf waffles. Only thing you can’t have is the mac salad. First fried chicken I’ve had in four years! Amazing!

The chicken and waffles were to die for. You wouldn’t know they were gluten free. Seriously, I ate like a pig here and I regret nothing. You got to stop in here and check it out! I don’t know what their waffle recipe is but good lord, they are light and fluffy, and their syrup is amazing! Been 3 hours since lunch and I feel great, no symptoms of CC.

Awesome food! I was a little nervous at first because nothing was labeled on the menu but I felt comfortable after speaking with the staff before ordering. All the chicken is naturally fried in gluten free flour but make sure you ask for a gluten free waffle.

I would not Go there again! Something about my gluten free Waffel and Chicken was not gluten free. When i asked If the sauces they offer to the Chicken is gluten free, the women had to look on her Smartphone... I took the bbq Sauce, she told me gf. I had my typical symptoms, when i ate half of the Dinner... Maybe it was the wrong Sauce or they were not knowledgeable Cross contamtion, i don't know.

Had chicken, waffles AND the fries!! All GF! You do need to tell them to.make the waffle GF. Everything else is automatically. Ate here with no problems!

Wasn’t a fan. Chicken was bland and disappointing. Had high hopes.

This is a tough one. The food is definitely delicious, and it’s truly a treat to find GF fried chicken (they also have GF waffles upon request, and the poutine is also GF). On the downside, it feels like a typical fast food joint. Service is disinterested (they were annoyed when we needed an error corrected in our order), there is very little seating available, and the basement washrooms are super sketchy and VERY dirty (no toilet paper, flooded toilets, etc). Take the food to go and you’ll be very pleased!

At first glance this place will most likely make any celiac feel a little uncomfortable. I trusted the reviews and was happy that I did. Neither one of my children got sick. They took great care of us. And the food is awesome!

I was worried the whole time eating here that it wasn't gluten free because it tasted SO good! It was definitely gluten free AND delicious which was a really nice change. I had the Great White North with the gluten free waffle. Everything about it was perfect. It's a small restaurant with not a lot of space to sit but 100% worth going to if you like deep fried chicken and delicious food!

FOOD: 100% INCREDIBLE - so good my husband a gluten eater, couldn't even taste the difference! The gluten free waffles were fluffy, and a soft, chewy, but with a hint of crunch texture. Fries were on point - hand cut and crispy! Loved the tato salad, mayo based with onions and I think capers, and the slaw was vinegar based. I LOVED the fact that EVERYTHING here was gluten free EXCEPT the mac salad and a gluten waffle BUT the french fries and chicken are 100% gluten free and have dedicated fryers ! WOOT WOOT ! Safe service, clean establishment and they asked about an allergy right away. I am sensitive to pepper, so for me, the fries and batter for the chicken was a bit "potent" but so flavorful I did not mind the pepper, and it was not overpowering. I ordered the Great White North and loved that I had THREE tenders to work with - to eat as fried chicken with ketchup (since it's rare to get fried GF chicken) and the rest with my waffles with the REGULAR maple syrup. I did NOT get the buttered maple or ranch on my entree - personal preference! The waffle DID has a small amount of butter in it - and the counter staff even knew this when I said no lactose - VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE COUNTER STAFF!

Traveling with Celiac Disease can be tough, and it becomes more difficult when I need to try my best to avoid lactose as well - so I need to do A LOT of research before I enter an establishment so I can feel safe, at ease, and not have to ask a million questions upon arriving - JOSH ANSWERED FIVE EMAILS FROM ME BEFORE I WAS EVEN A PATRON

I have Celiac Disease, as well as severe Irritable Bowel Syndrome - I do NOT eat gluten, and avoid lactose as much as I can - he answered multiple questions with enthusiasm and was even able to provide me with the amount of butter used in the waffle - which was minimal so I felt comfortable eating it (I do not have a lactose allergy, rather an intolerance). He was SO helpful - HIGH SUGGEST A VISIT HERE FOR A SAFE AND TASTY CELIAC TREAT <3

GF waffles are amazing! We ordered The Clucker (wings) and The Great White North (chicken tenders), both very good. The 'Tato Salad is better than the Slaw, and the Scotch Bonnet Ranch is spicy but won't kill you.

This place is amazing the chicken and waffles is to die for!

Had chicken (2 10 piece buckets) fries and coleslaw. Gluten free waffles were great. Maple butter and BBQ (dirty) sauce gf and excellent. Chicken was fantastic - light, crispy and not greasy. Pass on the coleslaw -Tiny and flavourless. Go for the fries!! Kensington tiny location so we got it to go.

I was very excited when I found this restaurant reviewed here and headed up there today. I'm from England and we so few fully GF fast foods available.

I had chicken and chips and a waffle, the later I've never eaten before because you just can't get it in the uk. It was all great.

Delicious fried chicken and buttery waffles. What else could you ask for?

I was very nervous to eat here because it's a tiny hole in the wall of a place. Well, everything is GF except the pasta salad and the waffles (tho they do have gf waddles prepared in a separate area). I'm extremely sensitive to cross contamination but ate the (unbelievable) fried chicken with no issue. Two non celiacs with me found the chicken crispy and so delicious as well.
