The Dockside Bistro

A nice low-key setting in an old church, with a variety of food styles on the menu. Very personal touch with the owner coming over to talk to us and regale us with tales of his past and ambitions for the future of this restaurant.

Loved the German dish I had, easily accommodated gluten free and dairy free options.

The owner goes over the menu with each table as they arrive. Some items are marked but he knows everything you can eat or what can be substituted to ensure it is gluten-free. We’ve eaten here a few times for this reason. The butter chicken dinner with a substitute for the naan is my favourite so far here
