My daughter bought me THE BEST doughnut of my LIFE for my birthday today! The GF Strawberry Shortcake was absolutely divine!! 😋 I have tried a lot of GF donuts over the years and none of them come close to The Donut Kitchen. They are, hands down, THE BEST!! They offer several customized flavors from their menu starting with their delicious GF donut as a base. The choices here seem endless compared to other donut shops that attempt to do GF; only offering a few flavors. On top of all that, the owners and staff are so welcoming, and they have yummy boba, coffee, and teas on their menu. The Donut Kitchen is a must if you want to truly satisfy your cravings.
Came this morning, they were able to give me the icings that were gluten free and separated! I ordered a chocolate, strawberry and maple bacon. They can do any toppings as long as there is not gluten in the cookies. They were great about asking immediately!

The reviews on here were mixed on whether the gluten free donuts are safe for celiac. They are NOT celiac safe. I went in person this morning to find out. Regular donuts are fried in one fryer, and the gluten free donuts are fried in a second fryer that SHARES with the cake donuts that do contain wheat. I was mega disapppointed having to walk out without a donut in hand.
I recommend, really good. I ordered 8 glazed gluten free donuts today. Mimi (the owner) helped me. I told her I was allergic to gluten, and she said they have a dedicated fryer for all their gluten free donuts. Yay for that. Then I asked if they dip the gluten free donuts in the same icing as the gluten donuts, and she said sometimes, but today glazed was safe. So I got glazed only. But she also said to tell her if you have a gluten allergy and she will be able to get you more (different) icings like cherry and maple, etc…. The donuts were really good, but expensive. I ordered 8 total donuts and it was $34.55. But whatever, inflation is here. I will go back!! The GF donuts were thinner and not as puffy as gluten donuts (that I remember from 20 years ago before I went gluten free) but it was a treat. I could have eaten all 8 but I restrained myself. I will be back, Mimi!
After seeing TCHarrington’s review, I was sold. To be honest, I was a skeptic because I am very much a foodie in the sense of if I want something, I want it to taste like the real gluten filled food item it is…and my gosh, don’t walk, run to The Donut Kitchen. Literally the best gluten free donut I have ever had! We will be back, I have no doubt. The inside was airy and pillowy but with a nice crunch on the outside. So amazing!
I've been here multiple times. Both my daughter and I have gluten allergies and we have never had a problem here.
They keep the GF donuts in the back and they change their gloves right in front of you. You can customize the plain vanilla cake donut anyway you want and they are delicious.
