I commented on a post on facebook about how I wish it they could make gluten free hot dog buns because the store bought ones taste like cardboard. The owner then contacted me and said, “no problem”. Within a couple days I was picking up a dozen custom made hot dog buns that are absolutely delectable!

I have eaten here 3 times, and had violent stomach upset 3 times. When I brought a friend, she got sick too. The food is disgusting. Doughy weird cinnamon rolls, winky, limp, warm salads. It is popular and some people really love it, but celiac friendly or not, the food is gross. I have celiac disease. But I still **** my brains out every time I ate here. (I wanted to love it).

I would give it 10 stars if I could. I drive a solid 30-45 minutes to eat here! Dedicated gluten free facility with food that doesn’t taste like your typical GF foods. Chrissy and her family really have something special going on there! Never had a bad meal. You can eat in or take out. You can also order meals each week and for holidays. This was the first year I’ve had biscuits at Thanksgiving since I got celiac! Best chocolate chip cookie ever and honestly one of the best biscuits ever. Never disappoints!

Great hot breakfast, with lots of bakery items too. I didn’t try them but they looked delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls. It was a busy little place, seemed like all of the locals were eating there, not just people looking for gluten free. The staff were very friendly and it seemed family run. Would highly recommend.

This was my favorite place on my road trip! I tried multiple things during our few days in town, and they were all fantastic. At one point, the owner paused what he was doing to come over to check if my food was ok. (I ordered a sandwich with cheesey mushroom sauce everywhere and was trying to get it on my fork without making a bigger mess- definitely order that if it's on the menu, and get the gloves to save yourself some trouble.) While you wait for your food, eat a cinnamon roll- you won't be disappointed if you ask them to warm it up. So good!!

This is a dedicated gluten free facility with a note on the front door urging patrons not to bring in outside snacks to keep those with allergies safe. They can accommodate just about any other food allergen needs & you can expect foundation items like pizzas and salads with an occasional feature like shrimp & grits. Bakery items such as cinnamon rolls, muffins, brownies & cookies are also available. We love the food and the awesome family-friendly atmosphere.

Dedicated gluten free restaurant. Also peanut and tree nut free. Plus she labels dairy free, soy free, and corn free. Needless to say, this is the closest to home you can get to celiac safe! More importantly, the food is delicious. It is made from locally sourced ingredients, and the baked goods are made fresh on-site throughout the day. I often stop by just for a cinnamon roll!

This Rhode Islander visited with family who raved about The Dotted Lime before we went there. It is their favorite place when they are in the area. Could not believe that any restaurant could possibly be totally gluten free anywhere! Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and especially the Cinnamon Buns that we took to go. Had them for breakfast the next morning. Can't wait to go back next weekend when I am in town again. Well worth getting off Rt. 65 for fantastic food.

Everything on the menu is gluten free! Great variety. Food is prepared fresh and much of the meat is sourced locally. Some of their baked goods and other items are also vegan. Everything I have tried has been delicious (sandwiches, waffles, biscuits, muffins, cinnamon rolls)- I honestly don’t know how they do it. Fun atmosphere, with great service. 10/10 recommend to anyone, food allergies or not, but if you are GF you must try!

Some people think gluten, dairy, etc free foods don't taste as good. Guess again. I'd take food from The Dotted Lime every day even if I didn't have allergies.

THE best and ONLY 100% gluten free restaurant in the greater NASHVILLE area. Owner has severe celiac and actually gets it. She understands most of us have other food allergies so they offer tons of options Corn, Soy, Dairy, Nut free. There’s no nuts at all in their facility FYI. Lots of great vegan options too. They take it serious enough to even have a sign posted outside stating that their patrons have food allergies so don’t bring in anything from the outside, including baby food! It isn’t your typical GF place where all they have are sweets with a few sandwiches. Their dinners are incredibly savory with hearty meals and locally sourced meats. My husband said his steak last night was the best steak he’s eaten out-even better than his $100 Craft Steak we ate in Vegas. Please head down there and support this family! The entire family runs the restaurant and you will not only fall in love with the food and reasonable prices but you’ll fall in love with them. God bless them and all the hard work and sacrifices they are making to create this wonderful place for us to enjoy! She drives in every day from their mini farm many miles away to start baking even before the sun comes up. The kids help waitress and run the kitchen. They try very hard to only source the best ingredients and not pass on the expense. They even fry with sunflower oil which is double the cost of the crap canola oil that most places use. You will walk out of there so happy and feel completely normal again from a society/dining stand point. Bring friends so you can share plates! God bless the sweet owners and the difference they are making for others!! It is so greatly appreciated.

This place is REALLY good. It's becoming one of my favorites throughout America. It's all gluten free, sandwiches, wraps, baked goods, drinks, smoothies, ALL really delicious stuff, and it doesn't feel gluten free which I think is a plus, it's not made to be a focal point so you feel like a normal person lol. They have healthy options and comfort food options. Everything I've had was delicious. The vibe is cool also
