I wasn't able to get a lot of details on their protocols beyond the statement that they do their best to avoid cross contact. And the gluten free bread does not use oat flour. I ordered a sandwich on the GF bread and it was tasty. I was advised against ordering many of the GF items on the menu though since they used a shared fryer. Beware that GF on the menu doesn't mean cross contact free. I also avoided the baked goods as they are baked in the same kitchen as their other baked goods
I was in the area and stopped in for a small snack and latte today (Halloween 2024.) They have a spread of GF breads, scones, and more. I got a slice of the raspberry coconut bread. It’s topped with a cream cheese frosting and coconut shavings. I asked what flour blend they use and the worker was kind enough to go find out for me. (I have other food allergies.) It’s a rice flour blend btw. Great treat, didn’t get sick. Coffee was delicious and the service was awesome.
I haven’t eaten or had coffee here yet—but I have purchased gluten free peanut butter cookies to take home. I understand they are made off premise by the former Bella bakery baker, who is reported to bake gluten free items alone first thing in the morning in a mixed use kitchen. I am eager for them to reopen—best gf peanut butter cookies in town!
