Had the yummiest food at the expat! They have labeled menu and are aware of cross contamination and shared fryers. Staff made me feel super comfortable and safe and the food was incredible. Lots of GF options marked on their menu!

They have fried items listed as gluten free but they are fried in the same fryer! Not safe.

I got the Singapore noodles which were good.

Server was really helpful and very knowledgeable about what items were ok to order. She also let me know, as others have pointed out below, that everything fried is in a shared frier, so not safe for celiacs. The menu is clearly marked for the other items. I ordered one of the Vietnamese noodle bowls - it comes with a spring roll, fritter, and crispy shallots, but the server was really proactive and assured me that those items wouldn’t be in my order, and that she would make a note on the order as well. I felt very safe eating here, they take it seriously. My food came out perfectly without any of those items, was really really tasty, and I didn’t have any issues! Everyone I was dining with did not need to be GF, and they all enjoyed their food too, so this is a great place to come with a group. I will definitely be going here again.

The food is very good and priced very reasonably priced. The menu has a limited number of choices, most of them Asian including a lot of noodle dishes. About half of the menu items are gluten free. The decor is casual and relaxing, it actually feels more like your local, neighborhood Irish pub. Most of the customers were in their 20's (college students?) but quiet and well behaved. Very close to the 125th St stop on the #1 train.

Menu is labeled and they understand GF. However, lots of things labeled as GF are cross contaminated (the cauliflower bites or anything fried) so be sure to ask!

I’ve been there a couple times because of the reviews on this app. The menu is very well marked and for the items that are marked “gluten-free” there isn’t a risk of cross contamination. Those that are listed “can be made gluten-free” you have to ask because some do have a risk. I’ve eaten the Thai Basil Fried Rice twice. I’ve also eaten the gluten-free mochi waffle. They’re both delicious and safe!

Not everything labelled on the menu as gf is safe for celiacs--there is cross contamination in the fryer. That being said, I've ordered the singapore rice noodles, the basil stir fry, and the stuffed crepe multiple times without feeling sick.

The food was delicious and all GF items were marked on the menu. The owner’s best friend’s entire family has Celiac so he is very aware of safe practices. There were many options- probably half the menu or more was gluten free. They currently don’t have a gluten free fryer, but are still working on the menu and are planning to add one. My kids would like me to add that the mocktails are THE BEST. Staff was very kind and welcoming.
