We love the Fire Barn and eat there often. The food is great, service is friendly and there are good gluten free options (not always marked on the menu, but if you ask they will help you). They have GF buns and pizza crusts and several entrees can be adapted.
Chefs are well informed about gluten. Prior to the pandemic the servers were amazing for gluten free - well informed and very accommodating. Since the pandemic it's hit and miss whether or not the server knows much, but they always are willing to check and work with me. Recently I asked a server (who knew I was gluten free) if they had corn tortillas, and she said they did. I took one bite and it was clear that these were not 100% corn. when I followed up I found out that the corn tortillas have flour in them. I'm taking the blame for that one - I did not make a big deal about asking if they were 100% corn, nor did I make it clear that this is an allergy, not a preference.
I recommend the Fire Barn; it's actually our go-to place near us. But be warned that 1) their corn tortillas have flour in them and 2) don't assume that servers are on top of gluten sensitivities; make sure to communicate clearly about your needs. They are very friendly and will work with you.
