No one in my GF circle had any comments on dinner at Fish Rock Grille at the Ledges, so I took a risk eating there with a group. I'm happy to say they took care of me. The waitress confirmed with the kitchen staff whether the appetizer we were planning to order (lettuce wraps marked GF on the menu) was safe. Fortunately they were aware of a recent change in the sauce that made it unsafe, and she brought back the news. I skipped the only others GF appetizers as they didn't interest me (loaded nacos, chips and salsa). A couple of the fish dishes were labeled gf, and I ordered the grilled halibut with a couple of the sides. (Pictured.) The waitress confirmed those items were GF, and that there weren't bell peppers in the seasonal rice (something else my body complains about). Despite my "playing 20 questions" with her, she was very patient and kind. Aside from ice cream, none of the desserts are GF, and it's the wrong time of year for ice cream, so I skipped that course and just enjoyed the rest of my glass of wine and the live music. We are already planning to go back when our host schedules the next visit there.
