My husband has celiac disease and this is our favourite place to eat out. Hazel and Nick, the proprietors work really hard to make sure that their food is safe for everyone. The menu is clearly labelled, with many gluten free options. My husband was delighted to find somewhere that he could safely eat fish and chips, the first time since his diagnosis.
Their menu varies from pub standards to really interesting vegetarian and vegan dishes, many of which are gluten free. There’s a selection of gluten free beers and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Lovely quirky place! Unfortunately the options we wanted to try at lunchtime weren’t available but what we did have was delicious! We’ll be going back to try the pizzas which are only available in the evenings. We were told most of the kitchen is gluten free but there’s a small dedicated spot for the gluten containing food prep. My coeliac husband had no issues 😊

This pub is dedicated to making sure everyone has a great dining experience whether they can eat anything, are coeliac, lactose intolerant or have any other food or food group intolerance. They do a variety of different foods making everything on site, so they know what goes in and what you can eat. I have been there several times, the staff are warm, friendly and very knowledgeable and I have never had a problem.
