I got the southern scramble. I told them i was gluten free which means no biscuit. I’ve also been avoiding cheese so I replaced the grits with fruit

No gluten-free items. Very misleading as menu: they use “GF” next to many items but it stands for “gluten-friendly”— meaning if you eliminate the buscuit or bread item (and there’s no substitution offered ) although this is common used to indicate gluten free on most menus.

Food poorly cooked and I'm super sick now.

Got ill the next day after eating there . If you are celiac or have a gluten allergy , I would avoid this place .
No
After saying I need GF and have celiac they still put a biscuit on my plate. Not a safe place for those of us with a serious allergy.
No
This is my favorite breakfast place. The menu states very clearly what is glutin free.
Yes
Amazing GF options! I had the steak, eggs and grits. Seriously amazing cheese, creamy grits! No GF biscuits, but would highly recommend this place.
Yes
Busy place. Hard to park but they have good GF options. Scrambles and omelettes.
Good food, good awareness of gluten issues at this location. GF items are listed on a main menu. Have only eaten there once, so too soon to rate celiac friendliness.
Delicious! Love cakes and moon-dusted potatoes...amazing! We'll be back!
I ordered the spinach avocado omelet with a side of bacon and grits with no biscuit and our server, Mariah R was amazing. She was aware of my allergy and made sure it was noted and told the cook in the back and gloves were changed. I had no sort of reaction or sickness and usually immediately if I have any sort of contamination I get sick AND that did NOT happen. We will definitely go back. The menu showed the gluten free items and they were aware of the GF allergy and made sure we were taken care of! Mariah was amazing !!

I had a wonderful experience here. The waitress was very knowledgeable about Gluten free options. GF items were marked on the menu. They had a GF bread option as well to replace the biscuit for your order. I had the Piedmont Omelette with grits and GF Toast along with a Mimosa flight. The juices that they use for the flight are GF as well.

The most delicious grits! Server was knowledgeable and helpful. They were slammed and she still took the time to dip apple butter from a new jar for me. Each order comes with a complimentary biscuit and unfortunately I got toasted Udis sandwich bread. It was safe and toasted separately from everything else.

Flying Biscuit is a good place to eat. This was my first time eating at this location, and the menu is different (and didn’t seem to have as many GF options as I am used to having). However, I enjoyed my eggs, sausage, and grits. Their grits are always so good - don’t miss them.
