Review of The Flying V

This was a delightfully simple place to get some decadent pub food. The fries are gluten free (nothing else is fried in the fryer that fries the fries), as are almost all of the sauces. Vegan poutine is a real find, too - they douse crispy fries with a homemade mushroom gravy and cashew cheeze and top it off with microgreens. Although I love microgreens in a salad, I wouldn’t have assumed that they would pair well with the poutine. However, the whole thing came together beautifully.

While I was definitely full of fried food afterward, I felt good and wasn’t even a little bit sick! It probably helped that I split my (generous) order of poutine with a friend. ;)
