The food is extremly tasty and the guy that runs the place it’s soooo nice, that is a pleasure to eat there. I would totally go there more often, and even recommend it. From apetizers to main and desserts, all is top notch. 6 stars!😅

We had the best time at The Food Club. Carlijn and her chef were the most wonderful hosts one could ask for and the food was delicious! As a newly diagnosed celiac, Carlijn took the time and gave me a few great tips. And while all main dishes we had were really tasty, the cake plate we had for dessert really blew us away. I was happy to realize I can still have great food and cake and both of my friends who can eat gluten really enjoyed the food as well, which was also a relief for me. The quite long walk we had to take from our hotel to get there was worth every step and I totally recommend eating at The Food Club to anyone coming to Utrecht! I will definitely be back!

Great 100% GF restaurant. Had the "bitterballen" and the club bowl which were really good. Wonderful service. It's always a treat not having to worry about CC.

All the food is gluten free. Nice location and very friendly stuff. There is no sign in the restaurant or on the menu, dont let that unsettle you! You should do a reservation, via whatsapp possible.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! We came with 2 friends who are not gluten free and they loved everything too! Our friend literally said “this was one of the best meals he had ever eaten.” Carlijn the owner personally came out to our table help me figure out what I could eat since I also need to avoid milk, sugar, and have a few other intolerances. We got the bitterballen, fried smelt, vegetable fries, and the gf bread with a beef stew in it. Everything was delicious!!! It’s so nice that it is a dedicated restaurant and I could eat so many things! She was even willing to customize things for me that could be customized! The restaurant is also super cute! I loved the ambiance! Would 100% recommend making a trip here! Also fairly close to Utrecht downtown by car which was one of our favorite little towns we visited!

Great find for a completely celiac-friendly and tasty kitchen. We had wonderful bitterballen, imaginative mains, and tasty cakes. The owner is great and knowledgeable. We even got her cookbook. Highly recommended for gf foodies.

Completely gluten free kitchen/menu, so no worries about cross contamination!

Been here three times now, no symptoms whatsoever. And what's even better, the food is extremely tasty! Very friendly personnel that know their stuff and can adjust dishes for other allergens as well. The only (somewhat) downside is the location; it's just outside of the city centre, in a spot you're not likely to visit while just strolling through Utrecht.

If you eat gluten free and ever find yourself nearby however, then this is a must!

Sooo good! My non-gluten-free friends also said it’s tasty! The sweet potato fries are tasty! The fried meat is a Dutch staple and sooo good! Loved the fish and the meat with gluten-free risotto. There were 3 good vegan options on the menu for friends (tasty poke bowl/gado gado/weekend special) and even a vegan dessert (velvet cake w vegan buttercream). It’s also a cute little patio spot. I didn’t avoid grains on this meal. Even had gluten-free beer! And Prosecco! It was a little scary to order at first since the menu doesn’t say gluten-free (or vegan) but the owner cook is celiac. Her husband the owner / server is super nice. Definitely will be back when we visit again!

Great 100% gluten free restaurant. Their food is excellent. We got bruschettas, bitterballen en fried chicken and all taste amazingly good. As a finishing touch I decided to take a crème brûlée which was quit surprisingly… not the usual one, but a chocolate coffee taste with kardemom and nuts. A must eat if you visit them!
