The GF bread is tiny, but other than that it’s a great place to eat GF. Staff is generally knowledgeable, salads are delicious and filling.
Restaurant has the stereotypical tiny gluten free bread, smaller than your palm. Probably a fun place for ice cream, but portions for their general menu are limited.
The items are clearly marked on the menu GF. The issue I had was a miscue by the server. She was aware of the GF request but failed to order it that way. It was fixed and the food was fantastic! St. Louis salad and the adult grilled cheese. Super yummy! The GF bread is small and not the greatest. It’s what goes on it that makes it! Also order the ice cream!

Wonderful food, wonderful service and the ice cream martinis were amazing! Gluten free bread was good and the sandwich was so good. The servers are knowledgeable and the kitchen does a pretty good job. Definitely will be back! Jessie B was our server and she was really good too.
They had a dedicated gluten free menu with sandwiches and salads. The waitress was very understanding and willing to take the necessary precautions. She was able to explain the whole cooking process as well. When she brought out my food, she even was sure to wear clean gloves to bring out my food. For an appetizer, we got buffalo chicken dip. She replaced the pita with tortilla chips that were GF. For dinner, I got the roast beef sandwich and it came on 4 slices of bread, so not a usual wimpy GF sandwich. The food was all amazing! After dinner I got the bearcat sundae which was vanilla and butter pecan ice cream with both chocolate, caramel, and whipped cream! It was so nice to have a staff that understands!

Had a really great experience here for dinner last night! The server was knowledgeable and helpful and everything tasted great! Their GF bread was really high quality and didn't fall apart as many do.
I have celiac disease. The server was super knowledgeable about my issue and provided the exact options that could be made fresh in new bowls and pans. She explain everything they do to make sure no cross contamination. I got a salad sandwich with chicken. Super good and the bread was good to. No reaction. Highly recommend

They have a GF menu, but their regular menu offers GF bread as a substitute. The Cuban sandwich and the Ham and fig sandwich are not on the GF menu but the cook said he could do it “allergy safe.” The Cuban came out as two sandwiches on rather small gf sandwich bread. It was delicious. I felt fine after.

The ice cream martini are delicious and only one has gluten. This of course was Thin Mint the one I wanted. But I explained my condition to the waiter I got the drink without the cookie crumbles. It was delicious. Will definitely go back such a fun old time looking place.

I ordered a gluten free dairy free Cuban Sandwich with their soup of the week which was a gluten free and vegan option. While it's not a separate kitchen, they have lots of options. Vegan & gluten free breads and ice creams too! It makes it super easy to have a good time and not feel like you're having to "settle." You have lots of options too.

This place was good! Diner vibes so I was a tad nervous as they were also slammed but my waitress was very understanding! I got the pesto chicken sandwich and the billy goat chips and it was delicious! They dont even have a fryer so the chips are not fried and safe! I’d recommend!
Restaurant had a gluten specific menu. The pesto chicken sandwich was amazing! The sandwich came with homemade seasoned potato chips. Had the almond joy ice cream which was truly fantastic.
Their pickle soup was some of the best soup that I have ever tried. I ordered a sandwich on a gluten-free bread, and when they brought it out I just had a feeling that the bread didn’t look gluten-free. I asked the waiter if it was gluten-free he replied no that’s definitely not gluten free bread. Could have ruined my whole weekend. They were apologetic. Very cool atmosphere, the ice cream looked amazing! Very slow service.
Server very knowledgeable about the kitchen’s process and cross contamination. I ordered an ice cream martini, pickle soup and the Blackhawk sandwich- did not get sick.
They have a separate GF menu if you request it which has great salad, sandwich, soup, and ice cream options! They have a separate prep area and sandwich press, and the server was knowledgeable about celiac and used gloves to bring out my food. I got the pesto chicken sandwich on GF bread and dill pickle soup which were both delicious. Their mimosa with orange sherbet and ice cream was incredible. Definitely going to be a repeat customer!
Great ice cream martinis! They have a dedicated gluten free menu. The staff is very knowledgeable about Celiac. But you can’t make substitutions. Only things off the GF menu are gluten free. But they will change ice cream martinis to make them gluten free. I had the Thin Mint martini and they removed the cookie crumbs. It was delicious. Tasted just like a Thin Mint which I haven’t had in years. The martinis aren’t cheap but definitely worth it!
They have a gluten free menu, however, my sandwich came out with crispy onions on it. When I questioned the server, he said he thought they were gluten free. I asked him to double check, and they did indeed contain gluten. They made me a new sandwich. The food was good, but further training is needed both in the kitchen and with the wait staff.
Had a sandwich and salad which was good. The soup (dill pickle) and ice cream was amazing and definitely worth a visit! They seemed very knowledgeable about what was gluten free.

Love this place! Great sandwiches, soups and salads m that can be made gluten free, I usually ask them to wrap my sandwich in aluminum to toast it in case of cross contamination. They have always been accommodating. Really love the egg salad sandwich and the salad with clementines in it, all the soups I’ve had are fantastic. And they have ice cream that’s gf. The atmosphere here is unique and so cool! You won’t be disappointed
The food was amazing and the Gluten free menu was extensive. I had an espresso sundae and it was divine!

All those looking for GF Food AND dessert need to stop here. Took a trip to St Louis and found this place on the app! Believe all reviews, eat here with confidence! I did the 2 soups and extra side salad then ended the night with yumminess (butter pecan and vanilla ice cream topped with caramel)
The staff was very friendly when we asked about gluten free options. They used a different ice cream scoop and my daughter (Celiac Disease) ordered The Gambler sundae with only gluten free items. They did a great job and we felt very safe eating there. We just had to make sure the server knew.
Delicious, lots of options. Roast beef melt was amazing and the root beer float was good too! Fun atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I am a sensitive and picky celiac. We will be back, soon I hope!

Great place! Let the waitress know you need gluten free items and he or she will let you know what they can do for you. They had a chicken based soup that was to die for and made me a terrific a safe sundae and was GF. Most of the sandwiches could be made GF with GF bread and the BLT I ordered was amazing! Their ice cream is super yummy and they have GF topping and fun flavors. Our waitress was well informed about gluten and she was keeping an eye on my food to make sure it was safe. Cool ambiance too!

if you are in St. Louis, you definitely want to try this restaurant. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The food is delicious. i was served 2 sandwiches even though one would have been plenty. The waiter said it was because the bread was smaller. But next time, I will ask them to make just one. Desserts are extra special here and are all made with home made ice cream. Come hungry!
Absolutely loved this place. The food is fresh and tasty. Some of the best GF bread I've ever had. A lengthy sandwich menu, all of which can be done with the GF bread. Corn chowder is GF and was good. Plenty of salads and amazing ice cream desserts.
