The Gathering Cafe Restaurant

I was really disappointed when we went here. While I like the fact they have gluten free options, I think the portion size compared to price is absolutely absurd. Beyond that, both mine and my husbands meal were entirely flavorless and when I asked questions about ingredients for another allergy the cashier/server had a really hard time answering them which then made me fearful of eating. We personally won’t be returning.

Great Place with a lot of GF Lunch Menu. I just deleted breakfast because we just had the worst food. Eggs over cooked, GF pancakes burnt. I canceled this off my breakfast place for now.

This place is amazing. We came for breakfast & had wonderful gluten free pancakes. I can’t wait to try the lunch menu. And- they have gluten free brownies & cookies!!!

Service was very good. The place is perfect and felt cozy. Gluten free pancakes were sooo good and the food was perfectly portioned and delicious. We will definitely be back

I was on my way out of town and needed some food to fuel the trip. Needing to find something with GF options and seeing some reviews I happened upon this place that I would not have otherwise known about since it is invisible from the road (or to the naked or out-of-towner’s eye). What a lucky find! It’s clearly a regular spot for people in the know around here based on my quick scan of the room, which was 3/4 full at 2:00pm on a Sunday. We sat at the bar and got knowledgeable, friendly service. The menu is clearly labeled for GF (though strictly speaking it is a shared kitchen) with GF options for substitutes in some cases. I had the Panang Curry as I know Thai food to be safe and it was delicious. All of the brunch/breakfast dishes I saw going out to the surrounding tables looked mouthwatering. This place is a hidden gem!

Love this place, delicious food and great understanding of ingredients, many GF options.

While the menu for lunch/dinner was identified, the breakfast one wasn’t and the server didn’t seem to know/nor was he interested in getting any info for me. After having to ask him multiple times to check with the kitchen, we verified that the GF pancakes were made on the same grill, as was everything else. His suggestion? “Fruit, unless they have some of the fruits with glutens in it.” 🤦‍♀

The GLUTEN FREE MAC N CHEESE WAS AMAZING!!

Good kids meals options. Macaroni and cheese was somewhat disappointing, basically penned with melted cheese not at all Creamy Mac and cheese. nice that there are so many healthy options, but not much flavor to anything.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! I highly recommend it. Especially the mac and cheese and the green beans! They were so careful about cross contamination and so polite and considerate! I will be returning time and time again!!!

This place is in a strip mall, looks like nothing special. Don't be put off. The food is outstanding, very fresh, very nicely prepared and presented. Reasonably priced, and lots of gf options.

The food was delicious!! My daughter was excited to have gf Mac n cheese. Great selection on the menu. Our server, Eric, was helpful and patient. It was more expensive than we were expecting, but always worth it to feel safe eating out and bonus for good food.

Ordered crispy grape leaves, brown rice bowl w/ chicken, & gf chocolate cake & all 3 were EXCELLENT!
