I'm a celiac with lactose intolerance and an egg allergy, so any bakery that can feed me is a must-try on vacations. I got gf vegan doughnuts (double chocolate sprinkle that day), a nanaimo bar, and potato rolls. I wish I'd tried 10 more things, as everything was really fantastic. The potato bread, in particular, was magical. I can't compare the nanaimo bar to a "normal" one, as this is the first I've ever had, but the cashew-based vegan custard was really really really good.

Delicious food and 100% gluten free! They also sell bread mixes and pancake mixes as well along as a lot of other things. This is a celiac’s dream! One thing to note however is that it is a good idea to come earlier in the day, as they do sell out.

The most delicious brioche donuts ever and the quiche is so good! I love everything I have tried there! Safe for celiac.

Had lunch here and it was delicious. The pesto grilled cheese was absolutely decadent and the selection of sweets were all so beautifully made - I ended up with two deserts. A true neighbourhood gem.

A great mix of items and even mixes to take home. The cinnamon bun was very good. Great cookies. The Nanaimo bar was wonderful. All gluten free and the owners have been for 10+ years. They have some vegan and some nut free items.

Stopped by to get a pastry. This place was great. They had prepared and frozen food, plus items you can take home to make cookies or bread. I am gluten, dairy and nut free, they had several options. No negative after effects. They appear to be dedicated gluten free. Vegan options were available as well.

Fantastic place for gluten free treats. I was impressed with the variety & I was lucky to try the Boston Cream donut among other tasty treats. Only had a couple of days left visiting Vancouver but I’ll be back to try the breads. Give this place a try!

My teenager was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease. It was an amazing experience to find this dedicated GF bakery/store and we enjoyed some of their delicious goodies: breakfast sandwich, pizza and a taster of their sourdough bread. We stocked up on items from their freezer to enjoy later. There is so much to choose from (sweets and savory) including spices, sauces, jams etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend you try the Gluten Free Epicurean. The pizza is really great!

Incredible. We were totally blown away by the variety and taste. We got the sandwich of the day and are still talking about it (Korean BBQ chicken). Also tried: pesto grilled cheese, glazed donut, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant. Everything was so delicious. No risk of cross contamination and everyone is really friendly too. A must visit.

Bakers are amateur and the desserts are way too sweet. Lemonade Bakery is far superior. Owner need to understand the nuances of customer service and look beyond her limited scope. Sad!

Great little spot. 100% gluten free. Lots of vegan options as well. Good selection of local items carried (loved the local dumplings and progies) The donuts were AMAZING. 100% recommend. The grilled sandwiches were also amazing.

The croissants however were such a disappointment. I couldn't even finish them. Dense and little to no taste at all. Like a heavy scone or something. Don't waste your money on it.

Uh-maz-ing!! Best GF bakery I have tried. Great for savouries, love the donut and baguette too! They have so many choices that you’re gonna wanna get the bigger box to fit them all! This is a cafe-like experience for people who miss savouries and sweets. They have great baked goods, like pizza, sandwiches, cookies, tarts... and offer frozen packages of Cinnabon’s and pot pies for Sunday and Monday snacking at home. Their drinks are pretty hippie - kombuchas, small brew pop, etc. There is a coffee shop next door, but they are expensive!

The first day I was diagnosed as celiac 2 years ago my mom came home with a chicken pot pie from here since we are lucky enough to live a few blocks away, ever since it has been my comfort place for gluten free food. Their donuts are another on of my all time favourites! Highly recommend
