Review of The Grand Seafood & Oyster Bar

My celiac daughter had a steak, garlic mashed potato and green bean entree with a red pepper and balsamic sauce that was cooked special for her. A manager named Ellen was very kind and helpful when I called the day before to arrange and make sure we could eat here. She appreciated having the advance notice so they could prepare for us coming. There are several GF items listed on the menu: steaks, whitefish, sushi, and a few apps and side dishes. I am told the caesar dressing is GF. Although the server did not seem totally knowledgeable about celiac, she made sure things were ok and checked on things I asked about. Ellen the manager made a visit to our table to assist and reassure the kitchen staff was aware and would take extra precautions. I would repeat eating here but go the extra step to call ahead and speak with a manager. The contact link on the website did not work when I tried to email.
