Waited an hour after being quoted 30 minutes for a table and watched them turn around tables at a snail’s pace and left many tables open for a long time. Really poorly run restaurant. The server was very nice and made sure to double check that everything I ordered was safe. They have a wide variety of gluten free options (was told they can make almost anything gluten free). The food itself was nothing special and somewhat bland. The gluten free bread was rock hard, fish was plain, pasta was a little rubbery. Would not go back despite the great selection.
I have never felt so catered to in my life!! Called to do a pick up order and noted some family members were celiac. They checked with staff and made us a gf family meal. When I picked it up, all gluten containing items were clearly marked in a separate bag and they even included some gf brownies. The thought they put into our order on a busy summer night was amazing! And, of course, the food was fantastic! Cannot recommend them enough!!!

I went here with a friend while visiting Portland. It’s a great spot with a very cozy, family restaurant vibe. Our server’s niece has celiac, so she was well versed about cross contact and the menu’s gluten free offerings. I had the gluten free bread, the gluten free lasagna, and the gluten free brownie with ice cream. The bread was just ok, but the lasagna and brownie were amazing! Truly delicious, and I didn’t get sick at all afterwards. I’ll definitely be back next time I am in Portland!
FYI they don’t do reservations but you can call ahead on the same day to get on the list. It’s a small restaurant so definitely call ahead.
I like that they try to be gf but I was violently I’ll after the gf lasagna and a friend of mines bf had the same experience. Wouldn’t go back
Excellent service, excellent food. Great gluten free options as well as dessert. I got the penne alfredo with chicken (GF) and the espresso brownie dessert with chocolate gelato (GF), and it was amazing. Their gluten free bread was very good as well. Small but cozy; definitely a place the locals love.
Was recommended by my nutritionist through the hospital. Nutritionist informed me the owner has attended several trainings for celiac to offer the celiac community a safe place to eat. Meal was great, no issues. Gluten free bread did take a long time and appeared to be frozen. Super small amount of bread for price, but meal was definitely enough I’ll skip the bread next time.
Bad service. Bad food. Expensive food. Definitely not going back.
most likely will not return. gluten free bread I ordered was still frozen in the middle. noodles in lasagna were hard. waiter brought out rolls that were not g-free. seems as though if you have a customer eating entirely from a f-free menu one might want to disclose that the rolls were not the gluten free bread I ordered. on the plus side - there were actually options on the menu other than salad
I was really impressed with the GF meat lasagna, and can't wait to try other dishes. This was one of my favorite places before GF, and I'm very happy that it can still be.
This restaurant was always one if my favorites before Celiac. It still will be!!!
My husband and I both enjoyed our meals- mine was the GF scallions, shrimp and risotto and he had a delicious regular menu fettucini with a special meat sauce . Lots of options and small, corner restaurant atmosphere.
This restaurant was the first I encountered with a GF menu, and it remains one of the best. Hell, I cried when they brought me a GF Expresso Brownie Sunday that actually tasted *good*! I'm told a family member is sensitive, so everyone is well trained. The GF menu is extensive AND delicious, and they have wonderful desserts! I come to visit often and (knock on wood) have yet to get sick from their food.
Extensive gluten free menu, was even able to order yummy Italian bread with olive oil and herb dip. The gluten free lasagna was excellent, as was the pizza. We enjoyed it so much for dinner we went back the next day for lunch (while traveling).

So many choices, ibcluding yummy bread and pasta!! Knowledgeable staff. Even gf brownie dessert. An oasis of satisfying, savory food!! Worth many return trips.
