Really great food, very fresh ingredients. They are knowledgeable about gluten free and have a variety of vegan/vegetarian food. The smoothie was just okay but the kale salad bowl was delicious.

Cute place behind a cottage. The lady who took my order didn’t know what celiac was, so I told her I had a severe gluten allergy and she said most things can be made gf. Got the chicken wrap with a gf tortilla. I hadn’t had a wrap in years! The tortilla was great and didn’t fall apart. Very yummy.

Great little place, really delicious food and cute outdoor eating area. A lot of gf options, would return. try the curry salad!

Very cute little local cafe with gluten free options. Loved the Kale salad with lemon dressing! Went with this option instead of a veggie sandwich on gf bread as I didn't want to risk getting sick. May be fine but I'm always extra cautious around sandwiches due to cross contamination potential.

Great local health food cafe. GF options labeled clearly on menu. Food was well prepared and tasted very fresh!

I found this cafe because of this AP. It is definitely off the beaten path. The cafe is behind a house in a residential neighborhood. Had a gluten free chicken wrap that was good. The wrap was your basic GF wrap that is just ok but the ingredients inside were really good. They also have vegan smoothies made from rice milk.

The Greenery Cafe is in a quaint gardened area and their menu boasts options for gluten free/vegan consumers. I got their curried chicken salad with gluten free bread, and my husband got their veggie hummus sandwich. They have nice cold water that you can help yourself to and relax outside with the beautiful plants.

This place is kind of in a backyard and has a few tables outside with umbrellas. Some pretty plants, but not the best location or nicest. Lots of gluten free options. I went for lunch a got a vegan/gluten free sandwich. It was good. Husband got fish and some sides. Compared to other options on the island this place is good, but not the best option. If you are in the area and really hungry then go for it. Kind of expensive for what you get in my opinion. Definitely safe for celiacs though and they have great juice!

The good is all organic and the cornbread is made with gluten free flour. The Salmon croquettes are wonderful as is the rosemary chicken. A very quaint little stop in downtown Lihue two blocks from Hilo Hattie's.
