Excellent breakfast! The bowls are enormous. My husband and I could easily share one. I had the bowl with grilled shrimp, collard greens, tomatoes and the jalapeño sauce. It was a build your own bowl.

The food here was AMAZING. I cannot say enough about how delicious it was. I had traditional grits, sautéed spinach, heirloom tomatoes, and green tomato bacon jam. I will be back! The Mt Pleasant menu online is marked for GF items

Gluten free items are not labeled in the restaurant. They are online. The cashier was knowledgeable. I ordered a build your own gouda grit bowl with collard, tomatoes, and hot jalapeño sauce. I thought the sauce was going to be hot sauce. It is creamy so I was worried. The bowl was so much food that it made two meals and I felt fine after eating the sauce I was worried about. You do order at a counter so that can be overwhelming if you don’t know what you like. The grits were really tasty and creamy. We also had mimosas. Yum.

Super good food! Everyone so friendly and knowledgeable. Gouda grits bowl with grilled shrimp collards and bacon honey jam - delish! Location is beyond perfect when seeing a show at the coliseum.

Absolutely delicious and life changing. My husband hates grits but devoured his bowl. I’m celiac and had no reaction. Menu lists GF items online and allergy was listed on our order. So good!! Must try!!
