I've had two experiences here since on my celiac journey. First had crumbs on my salad but they quickly and kindly corrected it and took the extra step to educate the staff to do their best not to cross contaminate. Today, noticed a grilled onion in my salad so I'm weary but so far so good. The websites allergy list is helpful and the managers/staff cares if you let them know you have wheat issues.

All burger patties and tuna and grilled chicken sandwiches available gluten free (NOT fried chicken or tri-tip) if ordered lettuce-wrapped or bunless. The fries are in shared fryers :(
Generally helpful, careful about Coronavirus. The burgers were well seasoned and assembled well, in a tray so as to avoid a mess.

I’ve gotten glutened by cross contamination the last three times I’ve eaten here. I get the lettuce wrap and don’t get anything from the frier. The lady that took my order most recently was really knowledgeable and super good about alerting the line staff to change their gloves, but I got sick within about half an hour. They try, but they don’t quite get there.
The staff understood Celiac and cross contamination. They flagged my food as a gluten allergy and cleaned prep space, laid down paper and changed gloves. I had a great lettuce wrapped burger!
On their website you can download the Gluten-Free/Celiac Info. Went here Wednesday night for the first time. The manager at this location was aware of procedures for preparing gluten-free food and told me they will clean the countertop where they prepared the food. I didn't watch them as they prepared my food because it was so busy that evening, line was out the door, and I wanted to eat there and get a table. I ordered lettuce wrap chicken breast with avocado and other toppings from the Gluten-free menu. The chicken was so tender and juicy. I did not get sick at all. Will be returning to try other gluten-free items.
The staff is friendly, but does not take food allergies seriously at all. Every time we have ordered from them, they somehow forget to exclude any gluten. Even after being told it’s an allergy, they still don’t take the exclusions seriously. I’ve seen them make the order, the person at the window check it, tell them they need to take out whatever item, and the cook’s solution is to simply just pick off whatever isn’t supposed to be there, then hand it back. I’ve even brought it up to the manager and his cook’s have still not corrected this error.
They didn’t have a gluten free bun available, only a lettuce wrap. Neither of the people we spoke to really understood the concept of a shared frier, but once I explained it they informed me that it was not gluten free. Can’t speak to the cross contamination or anything because I didn’t feel comfortable eating here and hate lettuce wraps.
I checked it out and decided not to eat there. There's no statement about allergy-friendly food prep on the menu or the website. I didn't want to have to make special requests (please use a different surface, change your gloves, etc). Plus there's no GF fryer, so no GF fries to eat with your burger.
The fries are definitely NOT cooked in a separate gluten free fryer. I called several locations and they all stated the fries are NOT cooked in a dedicated GF fryer. Hence, not gluten free. Still go to The Habit and get the burger in lettuce and bring my own GF bun.
this place is hit and miss. I've had safe lettuce wraps and cross contaminated. the fries are sometimes in a dedicated fryer and sometimes not, but the worst is when none of the staff can answer this question.
Contrary to what the person reviewing this ace said, they DO NOT use a Celiac Safe dedicated fryer for their fries. They fry all gluten and non gluten products in it.
Also- they don't have gluten free buns.
The counter is better and and Celiac safe.
So tasty! They're not very knowledgeable yet, but my husband and I are working on that. You can have burgers or sandwiches wrapped in lettuce. They're fries are fried in one fryer, the onion rings in a second, and the chicken in a third. They're fries remind me of Wendy's fries, but better! The staff are really nice, but they're don't have an actual GF Menu. I'm hoping to change that, however. It's right next to the Pei Wei and Costa Vida, and just down the street from Chik-Fil-A and Carl's Jr.
