The menu offered one GF item and was given a dismissive “Just letting you know we can’t guarantee keeping you safe”. That’s kind of the point. If you offer GF, you need to be able to keep it to 20ppm or less. If you can’t, don’t advertise it as GF, and we will find a place that cares about how they handle their food.
Some servers are nicer and know more than others. The curry bowl is NOT safe, I had a really severe reaction, which is sad because it's the only thing on the menu actually billed as GF. Usually I'm okay with a salad with oil and vinegar, although they never want to allow me to order that until I explain that I can't have any of the dressings (none are GF).
