They said there is no way to make pancakes gluten free. There is no separate area. I had an omelette and I toasted gf bread and I was ok. She said that was safest. I wasn’t given any potatoes.

Very helpful staff and delicious food. Waitress said they could do all of their specialty pancakes GF except the red velvet. She also said more items than were marked on the menu could be made GF with slight alteration.

Tips

Celiac

Food is good, but the staff seats some people more quickly than others. They do not take reservations on weekends and you can watch some people walking up, getting seated faster than others and leaving, the ones they make wait also get seated in the back half of the restaurant. 1 star for unfair treatment by staff

Not many items are listed on the GF menu but I asked if they could do the Cinnabun Pancakes GF and they did. They were so delicious!

Tested gluten Free pancakes with my Nima tester - came up positive. Server said there’s a separate grill space etc but the manager said there’s no Separate cook space or Utensils etc.

Would only recommend bacon - cooked in the oven separately from other things

Benedict’s cooked on same cookspace as cornbread which has gluten in it.

Pancakes cooked on same surface as other gluten pancakes.

Wouldn’t recommend for celiac in any way

Very delicious! You can have toast (in a separate toaster), pancakes, and french toast. Fryer isn't safe so no potatoes. Waitress was very helpful and asked if I had celiac

I would have given five stars because both my gf berry french toast and my husbands voo-doo egg dish were delicious and the waitress was very helpful. However, I got cross-contaminated.

So many great gf options! Sandwiches can be made with gf bread, and the gf pancakes are a nice treat! The only bummer was their fries are made in a shared fryer.

The staff is super knowledgable about ways to make adjustments to keep everything gluten free. Options include pancakes, waffles, & omelettes. Unfortunately the house potatoes are not gluten free because they are fried in a shared fryer. Recommend being added to the waitlist online as waits during peak hours can be long!

The server expressed understanding of celiac needs and wrote it on the ticket. The totally awesome kitchen manager came to my table and chatted, noting that they had taken an 11 hour class on allergens. AND, the gf French toast was delicious! Will make sure I go here each time I am back in town.

I had such a wonderful experience there! My Girls and I are GF ( me :Celiac) with additional sever food allergies . I told the waitress I had a Soy allergy & needed Gf ~ she was very helpful in sending out the chef ~ Courtney. Courtney was so gracious & accommodating . She really made me feel like I was in good hands and comfortable to know I was safe eating there. It's not often I get that feeling . She modified a salad for me since all their meats and grill use soybean oil and it was Superb ! My girls had the Giant Mickey Mouse GF pancake and GF French toast- they loved it!! & they validate parking! Bonus!!

Service was friendly and gf blueberry pancakes were delicious. Server seemed knowledgeable. Very friendly. But I think there was some cross contamination in the kitchen. I had a bit of a negative reaction. Not good. Really bummed. I was hoping to finish the pancakes for another breakfast! I say Yes to celiac friendly with caution.

I love that The Hudson Cafe can make any of their sandwiches with gluten free bread at no additional cost. I got the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and it was very yummy. Bread fell apart quickly but that's kind of how it goes with GF bread unfortunately.
