The Ice Cream Cone

We had a great experience here! They have a book with all allergies (wheat, nuts, etc) listed for every flavor and all flavors marked if it’s gluten free. They will then get a clean scoop and a new bucket in the back to put your scoops in a bowl. They even have a sign on their freezers that says to let them know about food allergies and how they handle them! Super impressed and made my daughter’s day! We even went back a couple times while on vacation.

This is a fantastic Ice Cream shop. The owner Pete is very supportive of the Celiac and Allergy community and has trained his staff in their procedures. They have a detailed book of ingredients, then you can request to see the label on the ice cream. They wash their hands and get a clean scoop and a new bucket from the back. My kiddo was thrilled!!

No gluten-free cones. Staff not very knowledgeable. Menu not labeled.. Good ice cream. They did have a gf df soft serve but he was unsure what it was made with.

The Dole Soft Serve is gluten free and dairy free. She assured me that it is safe for people with allergies. Ordered a twist in a cup. I wouldn’t feel safe getting a scoop of ice cream, but felt comfortable with what I got! And it was really good!!
