What a sweet location for fish and chips! Most of the menu can be made gluten-free (all but two items). Staff was knowledgable and helpful, and the fish was succulent, with such a fine coating of batter. A must-go if you’re visiting the Cliffs of Moher!

There were fewer options than other reviews suggested (esp if you're not a fish eater like me) but the staff was knowledgeable and my steak was amazing. My husband said the gf fish and chips was delicious. The place itself has great atmosphere and the staff was fantastic too. Knowledgeable and friendly. We were in the area four days and ate there three times!

Awesome stop post Cliffs of Moher. My GF fish and chips was fantastic and hit the spot after a long travel morning! My non-GF boyfriend said his burger was incredible. Did not speak to owner personally like others reported, but staff seemed very knowledgeable and aware. Highly recommend

Had a wonderful safe experience. The owner talked to us before seating and made extra sure that my food was celiac safe. Had no issues with cross contamination and had the BEST fish and chips I have ever had from a dedicated fryer.

A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful place! I got a hamburger and it was really good with good glutenfree bread. They also have glutenfree fish and chips. Can really recommend this place!

Super, super safe! Most items can be made gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer. I tested some things with my NIMA and they all came back with a smiley face. The owner talked to us and said he takes gf super seriously because his daughter has Crohn’s and is super sensitive. Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant and very knowledgeable on gluten free. I have had the gluten free fish and chips and it was very tasty. Seating indoor and outdoor on a very relaxed setting.

The Ivy Cottage had some amazing choices for GF food, plus the atmosphere is a delight. Everything on the menu barring one pasta dish could be made GF. We had starters and mains, all GF and all tasty! Chowder and the beetroot salad for starters... The salad was amazing! The cinnamon pears were that star of the show! I had the fish of the day (halibut with a tomato and clam sauce) and my partner had the fish and chips... Both done very well. I would recommend making a stop just for the salad but you'd end up staying for more. We didn't have dessert but the offerings were tempting. Well done to the Ivy Cottage!

The food was delicious!! I can’t ask for more. Had crab claws for an app and fish and chips for dinner. The soup and salad were GF that my friend got and they were excellent too! Ask the server for all the GF options, sometimes they’re not always listed in full or items can be adapted.

I think this is my favourite restraunt as a coeliac. Wheree do I start? Everything on the menu was gluten free except for the chicken burger so i had fish and chips. Not quite the same, but still very nice. Then I had a warm gluten free brownie. The only complaint is that they're too far away from me.

The fish and chips were incredible! The staff was friendly and even gave us a sample of their gf brownies for free! No problems.

This place is delicious! We visited after a boat ride at the Cliffs of Moher. The fish and chips can be made gluten free, they have GF bread, and several of the other dishes were GF including their soup of the day which several of my group enjoyed (a Thai-inspired butternut squash peanut butter bisque) that was also superb. Really tasty, top notch food. And a nice patio to enjoy on a nice day.
