Great experience on GF Mondays, so nice to be able to order anything from the menu knowing it’s safe. They clean out all the fryers to make it celiac friendly. I had a burger and nachos, I believe the burger bun was an O’Doughs which aren’t my favourite, but the nachos were great. Will definitely be back here on Mondays to try out more options.
They have many GF menu items everyday, but Mondays are dedicated to GF meals, including burgers, hot sandwiches like Reubens and Beef Dip. There is pasta, wings and other pub grub favourites, and Fish and Chips.
I had a Reuben, for the first time in 6 years, and it was just right.
Service was excellent, and we were reminded that only gluten free food was available.
Server happily explained their kitchen safety procedures.
I ate here about a month ago. I was super excited for the gluten free monday as I’ve heard lots of great things from other fellow celiacs in the community. I’m very sensitive and strict with my gluten free diet so eating out is always very difficult for me. I have the Nima gluten sensor and brought it with me. I ordered the nachos, chicken wings and the Buffalo chicken poutine. The Nima gluten sensor detected gluten in the nachos which was what I was most excited for. The staff could not understand how this is possible because they claim to take all the precautions, so I tested the nachos 3 more times with new capsules of course and each time it came back detecting gluten found. At the end of the day this is a mainly gluten restaurant and there will always be stubborn gluten hiding somewhere no matter how much you clean the area. I would just be careful ordering here if you are celiac.
Great place and on Mondays everything is gluten free. We had a little bit of everything and it was all great.
On Mondays (only) this location is fully dedicated to providing an exclusive Gluten Free Menu that features a variety of items not usually available elsewhere. The food is very well made and delicious. Service is friendly and welcoming. It’s a popular place! Definitely recommend it!
Visited recently after just being diagnosed celiac! Went in a gluten free monday for supper and went early as we did not have a reservation - i heard it gets busy.
Was fine at 4:30, but very busy when we left!
Very attentive and prompt service, i had salmon steak and my wife had thai bowl and we both enjoyed it very much.
Will certainly be back! Nice ambiance too, very relaxing!
The food was good and with my girlfriend being gluten intolerant the options she could choose from were awesome definitely recommend to a few other friends
This place makes me so happy. A safe place for people with celiac disease in Burlington that is reasonably priced.M. I often order the braised beef short rib, nachos, chicken sandwich or the cobb salad. The food is great and I have never been sick after eating. I would highly recommend this place if you are seeking a variety of gluten free choices in a laid back, pub style restaurant. Plus on Mondays the entire kitchen is gluten free!
Highly recommend. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! On Mondays, they remove all gluten items from the kitchen...change the oil in the fryers...scrub the kitchen down...and every item on the menu is GF for the day! So on Mondays: YES to all the questions about dedicated kitchen space, fryer, etc. We have sampled many, many items on their Gluten-Free Mondays and always been satisfied with the flavour and quality (well, okay...one exception: I wasn't a fan of the tacos used for the fish tacos - but the fish part was SO good, I would order this again but have them hold the taco!). One of the owners has celiac disease so these people really get it. And I was on the phone with one of them (not the one with celiac) at one point, and he said, "We don't charge extra if you want to swap out your fries for sweet potato fries with your order. You people have suffered enough!" LOVE it. So much thought and attention to detail, and so kind.
Unfortunately for my family, our second experience was NOT a good one. I got glutened TWICE on the same dish! They brought the regular version of the dish twice! The server was very apologetic but the damage was done. Maybe all restaurants should adopt a method that prevents this. For example, have a GF or Allergy tag that travels with the order and customers know that everyone who has touched the dish was aware of the allergies / food restrictions. Lesson learnt - don't go at busy times and avoid dishes that have a GF "option"
Judge & Jury actually guaranteed gluten free on a Monday as they empty the oil from fryers and use new oil just for gluten free, have the full gluten free menu offered (imagine not having to ask a thousand questions to clarify if it’s gf or not??) and the gf Pad Thai with chicken is out of this world delish!
What a treat to be able to order anything off the menu! They have gluten free Mondays where the entire menu is GF. Food and service were both great. My son has celiac and other food allergies, and no issues. Even though they have some peanuts in the kitchen , they were able to accommodate that allergy too.
Monday’s and Tuesday’s each week they moved their entire kitchen to gluten free including the deep fryer. Pad Thai, Fish and chips, burgers, and so much more desserts the works Fantastic idea! Only Monday and Tuesday is full Gluten free. Wednesday to Sunday there are still loads of gf options
