We are here on PEI and I was planning to try the Kitchen Witch for lunch today. Sadly through their Facebook we found out that Debbie passed away November 2022. It looks like for now the restaurant is closed.

What an unexpected experience on our drive through PEI checking out lighthouses and green gables. Stopped here for lunch based on all of the positive reviews on this app. Pulling up we were initially surprised by the look of the building from the outside, but when you get inside you will understand. Part cafe, part gift shop. Homey, full of hand made items and cheeky humor. Debbie, one of the owners, made us feel at home. She is very knowledgeable about GF cooking. Tell her you have a gluten sensitivity and feel at ease. All of their GF menu items are now prepared in a separate dedicated GF kitchen. The place was busy and it seemed everyone there had come for the GF cooking like us. We ate tamales, veggie panini, soup and tea. Apple mango cobbler and chocolate cheesecake bar for desert. Everything tasted great and we left full and ready for the rest of our adventure.

Early in 2007 we became aware of the local demand for gluten-free products, and our menu was gradually modified to accommodate this need. We established a designated area for preparation of gluten free items, including separate utensils and appliances.
Our menu is now approximately 70% Celiac friendly, but we quickly outgrew the area established for gluten-free foods. We have recently completed a major expansion, which includes a completely separate and fully equipped gluten-free kitchen.
Fresh homemade soup and sandwich. your choices of 4 different gf breads. so many desserts. I had peach cobbler and lemon square. it may not be big but it's good.

Great family run business! Very helpful and friendly. They have two kitchens for gluten free and not gluten free, and said about 80% of their menu is gluten free. It's a bit of a drive from where we were dropped off from our cruise ship but very much worth it!

Not a dedicated GF facility. They do bake their own GF bread. Overall not worth going out of your way for.
Excellent food and service!!! Took Bread home and it was delicious! I'd make a trip to the island just for the bread :)
A must when visiting the area such a cute place!! They are so careful and food was delicious! Can't wait to go back!

A wonderful restaurant - so many tasty choices and extremely celiac aware. Well worth the trip. Options include sandwiches, quiches, French toast, enchiladas and nachos. A completely separate kitchen for GF items.
Seriously, when was the last time you had brioche?

This by far is one of the best gf restaurants i have ever eaten at. The food is amazing with lots of selection, the staff are super nice and helpful, and the atmosphere is an experience in itself. Will definitely be returning and recommend to anyone with celiac disease and for those who just want a great home cooked meal. They also sell many different preserves and other condiments (like Worcestershire sauce) that are all gf and delicious.

This restaurant is fantastic! The menu was outstanding and the gluten free selections were the best ever. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful and catered to all of our needs. My advice is to take a side trip and head there for your lunch.

This is the best gluten free restaurant I have ever eaten at! The food was amazing and almost everything was gluten free. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and it is a truly unique dining experience. The desserts were out of this world and I would go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat! Also lots of options for people who are dairy free!
