So delicious! I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun as well as a side of fries. Staff seemed pretty knowledgeable on how to handle gluten allergy and cross contamination. Dedicated gf frier for the fries! Didn’t get sick at all and would definitely recommend!
The food was delicious! I was so excited and so happy to have such an amazing burger. Unfortunately, within a half hour the cramping set in, and I think we all know the progression. It had been so long since I had been glutened that I kept wishing it wasn’t, but no denying the telltale signs
As a takeout burger joint, it delivered exactly as expected. The first thing the person taking our order asked was as, “are there any allergies in your party.”
Told him Celiac and the next thing he said was our French fries are made in a dedicated fryer.
Got our order, food was delicious. Fries, such a treat to be able to eat out, were great.
Will go again.

Despite all the good reviews, decided not to eat there. The cashier said there was “flour everywhere” and it didn’t inspire much confidence.
A great place for a quick meal! The staff are very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contact. When I called to place my order, they asked if I had celiac and informed me that there was flour “all over the kitchen.” She actually told me I shouldn’t order if I have celiac due to this, but I confirmed that they have a procedure (fresh gloves, clean/dedicated surface, the gf buns are not grilled due to cross contact) and that the fryer for the fries is dedicated. Her presentation made me a bit nervous, but having read all the positive reviews and then confirming their procedure, I was still pretty confident there should be minimal risk. I would recommend just going and ordering in person rather than by phone or online because the food will be ready in about 5 min and there are no labels on the online menu. (I was originally going to order a veggie burger but was informed that they put it in the same fryer as the chicken tenders, but there is no indication that it wouldn’t be gluten free online). I ended up getting a hot dog with fries and my boyfriend got a veggie burger. We were both pretty happy with our meals and i didn’t get sick.
GF buns, fries in a separate frier, everything so good and never get sick!
We stopped for a quick burger at the Knack and it was delicious. Feel totally safe about their protocols and that they took our allergy seriously. Burger buns were awesome, totally recommend and look forward to heading back. No reaction from my partner.
Great selection of GF items, fries are gluten free and staff is knowledgeable about celiac and gluten allergies. I got fries and the classic hot dog without bun and it was delicious, quick and friendly service, and I didn't get sick afterwards. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick place to stop!
Went for a burger but then my daughter wanted a hot dog. The staff understood when we said we had a gluten “allergy” and said that the bun wouldn’t be put on the griddle. Double checked that there was a dedicated fryer for fries. No issues and things were delicious. GF items were packed in a separate bag and noted to us. Great job!
This place is must visit. Their fries are gluten free, in a separate fryer, and they have gluten free buns and such. The girl taking my order was very knowledgeable and well trained on their menu. My food was marked as gluten allergy, so when my friend (not gf) ordered on the same order the chefs flagged it and personally checked that it was separate from the gluten allergy meal. My gluten free items were even served in a separate marked bag. Not to mention the food was delicious, and they had the best gluten free fries I’ve ever tasted.
Stopped on vacation, staff very knowledgeable. Food only took 5-10 min, best burger and fries I’ve ever had. Separate fryolators, everything marked, also have lobster rolls and hot dogs.
Outside counter service only with open area to eat or a heated patio. Counter girl was patient with my questions and very knowledgeable. I felt safe eating here. No gf ice cream cones.
I’m visiting from AZ & all i wanted was a lobster roll & the Knack delivered!! Gluten free roll & not ridiculously priced!! Definitely recommend:)
Quite a few options - vegetable tacos, gf buns, and fries! The server was nice and knowledgeable and I felt fine afterwords!

Had my first ever lobster roll here - delicious! Was comfortable eating here safely as a person with CD. Passed on the fries - though they were tempting only because the dedicated fryer! Had the apple and carrot slaw instead - wonderful! I double checked that the bun on my roll was GF and they assured me it was. Never got sick or felt bad after eating. My husband had a burger with a regular gluten bun - he enjoyed it very much, said it was really juicy. Walk up window and outdoor seating only. Would recommend and would go back if I'm ever in the Cape Cod area again.

On the menu it list GF buns for the burgers. I asked if the lobster roll could be GF and it could be. Good place to have a lobster roll for the first time. French fries were GF. Celiac friendly place

Uses Udi’s buns, good burger! The fries are delicious and in a separate fryer (huge win). Also had a chocolate milkshake!

Fantastic food! Staff understands celiac and other food allergies. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries. This is one of our favorite places to eat on Cape Cod.

The manager was very knowledgeable and assured us that the fries and veggie tacos with corn tortilla (not cooked on griddle to avoid contamination) were gluten free. Everything was really good and we would definitely go back.
We love the Knack! I generally get the avocado burger not toasted with no onions as those go in the grill. The bun isn’t as tasty not toasted. Love the fries too!
Great experience I said I need to eat gluten free and I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun and they even said they wouldn’t toast the bun without me saying anything!
Dedicated fryer made it safe for me to have fries. GF hot dog buns wasn't that great, but that's typical. Staff made sure I understood the possibility of cross contamination, due to small kitchen size with no dedicated GF space. But hey, at least they know what Celiacs need to know to avoid getting sick.
Staff was helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about GF options. I got the GF Lobster Roll. Lobster was tender and flavorful. The bun however, is your typical GF bun in that it’s dense, dry, and flavorless. Definitely recommend if you’re having a craving for Lobster Roll and haven’t had the chance to partake in years.
We went there after reading the description that says that they have a dedicated fryer and we were told that the only GF option was their burger roll. Not sure if the staff is not knowledgeable enough or if they don't really have a dedicated fryer. We only ordered hamburgers. Very disappointed because before our diagnosis we loved their food.

yes love this place. worker there has gluten allergy. she told me they have gf buns for their burgers and their fish and veggies tacos can be ordered with corn tortillas. and they sell down East cider!! she also told me that the Ice Cream Cafe (around the corner) has gf cones!! I ordered the tacos and they were delicious.
Milkshakes are very good. Separate frier for French fries.
Great place! Worker knew what a gluten allergy was and was able to tell me what was safe to eat. Breads are all toasted on the same grill so opted not to have a bun. Onions grilled with burgers so they were ok to put on burgers. Fries have their own dedicated fryer! They were delicious! Their milkshakes are also a must try!
