Would not recommend. Definite cross contamination or something, ended up very sick after.
GF menu! I had a burger with a gluten free bun that came with fries. I asked if it was separate fryer and was told that it was. I ordered dessert from a different waitress. When it came it had some chocolate wafers in it. I hadn’t specified GF when I ordered. She said they had gluten and then as she was taking it away she asked if I was coeliac. When I said I was, she said that she would have a new one made for me.
They had a separate gf menu (including 6 desserts) but the waitress said there were other things on the menu that could be tweaked gf so to just ask. The seafood chowder was amazing, the lamb stew was meh, and the baked Hake was delicious and delicate.
Safety wise - my sons ordered the lamb stew which was supposed to come with a slice of gf bread… the man delivering it to my table realized that it had regular bread on the plate and immediately went to change it out with a new bread. So far my 3 CC sensitive people are feeling great, but I can’t give them 5 hearts.
Have eaten here twice since October 2021 and both times have been excellent. You may have to ask the waitstaff for “celiac options” and they will easily point out multiple other options that can be made GF. I’m from the states and found that most places if I asked for GF or celiac options staff could easily pick out more than listed items. Very knowledgeable staff in general
