Everything was DELICIOUS! This restaurant is 100% gluten free so you can order anything on the menu and know it will be safe. They have many dairy free and vegan options as well, which is great as I am also dairy free & don’t eat meat. The beet burger was absolutely to die for and their brussels sprouts were so good I can’t stop thinking about them. If you haven’t tried this place, you NEED to!
Always love a place where we can eat anything on the menu. Really loved the short ribs (spicy) and my family enjoyed the hamburger and salmon burger. Wish there was a bigger dessert selection but we did really like the chocolate chip cookies and ice cream.
O.M.G. This place is freaking amazing. 100% gluten free. Food and cocktails are excellent. Definitely come here. Edit: OK we came back a second night in a row, spare ribs, gf pita with hummus, guacamole, pork shoulder tacos, baked cauliflower, chocolate chip cookie sundae. Total crowd pleaser.
The banana bread was amazing! I could not tell that it was gluten free at all. With the selection of foods available it is wild to think they are making all this delicious food and it’s all gluten free. It really was awesome to be able to order anything in the menu and not worry about gluten or cross contamination.
Phenomenal - can’t say enough great things about the food, staff, and ambiance. Farmhouse feel with such great offerings and ALL GF - so never a guess if there will be an issue. Staff is friendly and attentive. Do not miss the banana bread!
This is my new favorite place! 100% gluten free menu and the waitress knew what celiac was. I had the watercress guacamole which was amazing and also ordered the Oaxaca corn and mushroom tacos which were so good! Never had a reaction and felt safe to order anything off the menu. Will definitely be coming back again
One of the best GF restaurants I’ve ever been to! 100% gluten free and the food is awesome! The Cauliflower Hummus and pita bread is amazing. We ate here multiple times on a vacation. We also got the Banana Bread, Avocado Toast, Carnitas Benedict, and the Huevos Frijoles.
I was full-on glutened here. I don't know if they allow their staff to bring gluten lunches into the kitchen or if the ingredients used were not verified GF, but I got very sick very quickly. I eat at other dedicated GF places and even some shared restaurants that have careful practices and a GF menu. Something is very wrong here.
Came here for brunch this morning and was not disappointed! Took forever to decide what to have because you never have this many choices at a restaurant. I went with the maple French toast along with a side of banana bread with hazelnut spread. My non GF husband thought the banana bread was delicious and also loved his Huevos friojles. Thank you Little Beet, will definitely be back!
My mom and I are both vegan and I have Celiac. We are here last night are absolutely loved it! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The chickpea beet burger was INCREDIBLE and my mom really liked her roasted cauliflower. The only thing I would change is that I wish they had some more robust vegan dessert options (choices were a sorbet or berry bowl) to go with the tasty and creative vegan entree choices.
Having a husband with celiacs and traveling sometimes has it challenges. Going to The Little Beet Table was super awesome bc it is 100% gluten free. the food is amazing..steak was cooked perfectly.. would definitely go again. Only complaint is that service was extremely slow.
Stopped here based on other recs on this app. Did not disappoint. Friendly staff willing to answer all questions. The place is truly 100% GF. I am returning everytime I am in Chicago. Food was delicious. Had the sweet potato toast and eggs and wife had maple French toast. Both sooo good.
Restaurant is completely gf and I had the most amazing autumn squash soup. So flavorful and the added pumpkin seeds added nice texture. Baby kale salad was also tasty and very large really more of a main course than an appetizer. Highly recommend.
Love supporting a restaurant that we can safely dine at wife my daughter who has Celiac. Impressive selection but food was bland. Service was slow & Ok; it was as if last night was their first rodeo, so nothing to rave about. kids had the burgers & sweet potatoes. Mustard & ketchup were made in house. My husband had the chicken; bland City. I had the branzino; moist but the dish lacked color texture & flavor. We tried the sides—sweet potatoes were very good but we didn’t realize each child (there were 4) received an entire sweet potato with their meal. Brussels were good but only 1/2 were roasted long enough. The zucchini was fair with a strange sauce that accompanied it. I wasn’t wowed by this place and based on the 5-Stars from other reviewers, I guess I expected better. With so many other options in this city, it’s doubtful we’ll be back.
I felt like crying this place was so delightful. Everything is safe and inventive as well. It is so rare to find a gf restaurant. I enjoyed the french toast. It was tender and flavorful. I did not get sick. A must try if you are in town.
Our son was only recently diagnosed as celiac and our visit to Chicago was our first family trip where he had to eat out 100% of the time. We were really excited when we found out the Little Beet Table was a 100% GF restaurant. My son could not believe he could eat everything on the menu. He ordered the hamburger and loved it, then ordered a yummy ice cream and strawberry desert. Our entire family enjoyed their meals; appetizers, entrees and deserts. I would say it was a little pricey but its Chicago and well worth it for the peace of mind to know my son could eat anything on the menu.
