The Loaf N’ Ale Pub & Restaurant

We went because of the GF designation and they do have a GF menu. However we’re not sure if the fries were done separately. Also there is a smoked meat sandwich “on rye” on the menu and they offer a bun instead. Also, we didn’t get the nachos we ordered and my husband asked for a salad and got fries. All in all not satisfactory.

Have eaten at the Loaf and Ale several times. They have a separate gluten free menu (ask for it), however you need to clarify what is safe if you have celiac. There is no safe fryer. Even the nacho chips are fried in the fryer. I have never been glutened, however twice we sent food back (both times for having croutons on the gf ceasar salad), and they remade our food. The gf bun and burger are great.

I go to the loaf all the time! They have a variety of gluten free options - sandwiches, burgers, and a couple entrees. I have never been sick after eating here. Definitely would recommend to fellow celiacs
