Review of The Local

There weren’t many GF options on the brunch/lunch menu. My daughter, who has celiac, decided on a cheeseburger on GF bread. When asking the waitress if it would be safe, explaining that this was for an allergy, she confirmed it would be GF. The waitress then proceeded to ask if she wanted fries or sweet potato fries. I inquired about a dedicated frier which they do not have so I had to ask for GF side options, again emphasizing this was for an allergy. My daughter’s cheeseburger came out, served on a regular bun. We had to send back the burger and ask for a new one, not just the original burger places on different bread. The next burger came out on the right bread but without the cheese. The third time was a charm. After it was all said and done, none of the food was great. I would not return again due to the food and the GF experience.
