Second time I’ve been here and the food was fantastic! The staff are friendly and the manager came to the table to see if we had any questions about the gluten free menu. Looking forward to next time!

They have offered me a separate gluten free menu! It also listed what may have cross contamination. I got the fried pickles, and the fish and shrimp platter. SO GOOD, and didn’t get sick at all.

Almost all of the items are GF with a couple of exceptions. The fish is catfish, which I’m not a big fan of, but they did a great job. I also got fried okra for the first time in a LONG time. The staff was really friendly and helpful, too!

Great service. Waitress was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free. We had fried okra, fried pickles and fried shrimp. I have celiac and get sick very easy. I was fine after eating here.

Server was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free. She did warn that the fries were made in the same fryer so there was cross contamination on those but that doesn’t bother me. We had the fried okra, fried gator bites, fried pickles and the fish and shrimp. Those have a separate fryer. No problems what so ever and I can usually tell within 20 minutes.

The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. While the menu doesn’t state GF, the staff was able to tell me the okra and gater bites with battered in corn meal and the blacked catfish that I wanted was totally safe for me. She advised me to avoid the fries because they are fried in the fryer the hush puppies go in. the food is fantastic!

All of the fried food at the Lost Cajun are gluten free except the fried chicken, fries, and hush puppies. It is not stated clearly on the menu that these items are gluten free. Our kids loved it and so did we! It’s so rare that you can get gluten free fried food!

Wow! Amazing FRIED fish, shrimp, oysters, okra, etc with a dedicated fryer! Amazing customer service, asked if I was celiac. Knowledgeable. Very reassuring when I had lots of questions. I had the fried catfish, cole slaw, and fried okra. Yum!

Very knowledgeable staff. All fish and okra are fried in corn meal in a dedicated fryer. Other options as well. Asked if I was just gluten free or celiac. That always lets me know that they know what they are talking about.

They did great about answering all of our questions. We have a dairy allergy as well so that was a little concerning for us for a few items but as far as gluten free goes, they were amazing! Everything uses cornmeal. Only gluten item they fry is beignets but they fry those in their own oil so dedicated fryer! Everything was so delicious. Definitely a great stop in Canyon City!

This place is a MUST! Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! This was like heaven on earth for this Celiac girl from KC. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp with fries. My husband and I shared the red beans and rice and that Cajun sauce OMG! They do have a dedicated fryer so no worries and were very knowledgeable and careful to avoid cc. I am very sensitive and have had no issues.
