I came here with a group of friends and called ahead to see what was celiac safe. The staff was incredibly helpful in steering me clear of cross contamination. They don’t have a dedicated griddle but they do have a dedicated toaster. I had the Tofu Reuben, the waitress allowed me to read ingredients of the spices and made sure it was cooked safely for me. The food was absolutely delicious and it’s right by my house. I would definitely go back.
Privately owned so it has a very “small town” feel. They treated my husband and I like locals and were very informative on their gluten-free options. I had the omelet and although it was lacking a little flavor, the added goat cheese was just a perfect touch. Very satisfying. Lots of options.
This little cafe was great! I’m very intolerant to gluten and our waitress was very happy to accommodate my allergy. Plus the environment is super cute. The only tip I have was to make sure you order it as gluten free, because they have a lot of options and that can be made gluten free. Other than that the food was delicious!
overall the place was great. What I really like was that it was organic they even had Himalayan salt on the tables. The French toast was delicious. What they need to change is their pancake batter we didn't like it, if they make it themselves they need to change the recipe.
great food and knowledgeable staff regarding gluten free. tuna salad was excellent
Safe to eat for sure. However, my son ordered French toast and ate one bite because it was all burnt. The server didn't even inquire why his plate was full when our table was cleared. Asked for 2 glasses of water and when bill came saw I was charged $4.50 for 2 glasses of Perrier. Overall it was too pricey for what it was and nothing spectacular
Enjoyed this restaurant and had breakfast there twice in three days. Great gluten free options. Service left a little to be desired on day 2 but otherwise would highly recommend to celiacs.
We ate here for lunch yesterday and it was so good we came back for breakfast today! We had a gluten free chicken wrap with hummus and chips for lunch and a gluten free burrito with hashbrowns for breakfast. AMAZING!!! We split meals both times and portions were perfect! Definitely a must to visit if you're looking for delicious, organic and gluten free food.
GF pancakes were so tough I had a hard time cutting them. They were very heavy and dry.
The most amazing tofu scrambler and homemade hot sauce. Even the coffee they serve is superb. They truly care about the product they sell and About their guests! 😍
Simply wonderful. Everything we tried was fresh and prepared to order-simple ingredients prepared to perfection, as the saying goes. I happily ate there two days in a row, despite a half-hour drive. My husband, a vegetarian, and my Aunt, an omnivore, were also quite pleased. I loved it. Wish it were closer (I live in MA, and haven't found anything remotely like Manatee Cafe)
Everything was amazing! My little boys loved the fact that they could eat bagels and pancakes in a restaurant. The selection was wonderful.
Primarily vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. The veggie omelet and hash browns are delish! Don't pass by this hidden gem!
