Great experience here. They have a dedicated GF and vegan menu. I was a bit disappointed at the choice as everything had to be vegan. I did realise at the end of our visit though that there was some GF stuff on the main menu, and also a star next to things that could be made GF. Lack of communication on there part would have prevented me having to endure a tofu burger.
The chips were amazing. I ordered one of the GF desserts which both sounded amazing, but then I thought it had peanuts in. After an almost allergic reaction the waiter said it’s best I don’t have them as there’s other nuts. There wasn’t peanuts in there just something that tasted like them, and this was my fault as I didn’t disclose my peanut allergy. The manager I think, gave me a dessert of sorbet on the house and refunded the other one.
Additionally, I’m pregnant so not drinking, and the two mocktails they offer were the best mocktails I’ve had. Feels like I’m actually having a treat and proper drink.
