Had a terrible experience at Markham station. Nothing I could eat except for a fruit bowl and the eggs. However the two prior visits here I was told the potatoes and bacn, sausage was gluten free. Inconsistent messaging and unsafe. Also terrible service
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
— Poor
The servers were surprised to hear the restaurant was listed as a gluten-free spot because they had nothing to offer that was safe for us.
No
Went here for brunch with friend because it was kinda in between her place and my place. I had the special 3 eggs + bacon + potatoes. No gluten free bread available to substitute for the toast. You couldn’t substitute fruit. So just no toast and nothing to compensate for the loss. They don’t have a dedicated fryer, and the home fries are deep fried. I had the roasted potatoes and thankfully they were alright. I didn’t get sick. Food is basically decent. I mean it’s hard to screw up bacon and eggs. But our server was not great. Brought me wheat toast even though I told her none. My bacon was not well done despite the fact that my friend and I both asked for well done bacon. She brought my friend tea and coffee at the same time. We had to ask for water to be refilled. It’s cheap if you get the breakfast special but they get you with the relatively high cost of other things like juice or fruit. Overall impression: meh.
