We’ve been here twice now and both times were a positive experience! Staff understood Celiac and told me right away they prepare gluten free separately in the kitchen. Gluten free dessert options as well. Ive tried the Cesar salad with roasted red peppers and shrimp and the shrimp kabob and a chocolate brownie for dessert and I had no reaction issues either time. Definitely feel comfortable eating here and the food is good!!
Wanted to love this place. They have a lot of gf options and seemed to be knowledgeable and careful. Maybe we just picked a bad night, but we did not enjoy our meal. Two of our 3 entrees were mildly warm, rice pilaf and steamed vegetables were very mushy, and my salmon was completely undercooked. I asked politely if they could heat it up more because the center was raw. I was told that this is how they cook it and to next time ask for it well-done. It was brought back to me with the center still raw. Positive - hummus was delicious and so was the non-gf homemade bread and pita.
There are both appetizers and entrées clearly marked as gluten-free on the menu. The server was quite knowledgeable and I was informed they also offer gluten-free baked goods through their bakery next-door to the restaurant. I enjoyed the falafel encrusted chicken which I understand is fried by itself in a pan on the stove. Spicy and delicious. Will go there again when in the area. Service was great and my dinner companions very much enjoyed what they ordered (they do not have a wheat allergy).
