My husband and I ate here and loved it. Everything we ordered was gluten free just to keep it all safe. We got the 4 course meal starting with the cheese appetizer of spinach articoke dip, which came with some veggies and gluten free bread. Then we had salads, and then the Big Night Out proteins substituting the terriaki and ravioli out for extra filet. For dessert we got the flaming turtle which was served with amazing gf brownies and snickerdoodle cookies. Our server was very knowledgeable about gf items and even mentioned that the gf items were kept in a separate area. We would definitely go back!
Update- had dinner on 8/26/19. They were awesome. My husband and I had a great time. He’s not GF but everything we ordered was. The dippers were great from the cheese coarse to the chocolate. They explained everything and made sure we knew what was and wasn’t GF.
Update- Had dinner there 1/3/19. They were fantastic. They have gf down and are extremely knowledgeable. I had a great meal.
I had dinner there two days ago 6/19/18. It was amazing. I dined with non-celiac friends so needless to say I was concerned about cross contamination. It was great! We had cheese and chocolate, which were both gluten free. Instead of having the whole table deal with the gluten free dippers ( bread), I opted to get separate bowls to put my cheese and chocolate selections in although there was no way to keep it hot. I took my portion first. They brought out separate dippers for me on a glass tray, not the wooden one. The waiter told me about each ingredient as he put everything together. They used Udis multigrain rolls which worked well with the cheese along with apples and veggies. I also got GF brownies, snickerdoodles, and marshmallows to go with my fruit for the chocolate. Definitely would recommend. They are also approved by the GIG. https://www.gluten.org/branchnews/gluten-intolerance-group-awards-melting-pot-restaurants-inc-gffs-certification/
my experience here was wonderful! I came for KC restaurant week, and that entailed a four course meal. Everything was marked GF on the menu accordingly, and the staff took extra precautions for cross contamination. The first was cheese and vegetables, and they have GF bread available. The second course was salads, again with GF options; the third was meats and our waiter was very knowledgeable about which sauces were and were not GF (avoid the teriyaki steak / teriyaki sauce) and swapped out the gluten options for extra gluten free items.
the dessert fondue options were EXTENSIVE - fruit (obviously), GF brownies, GF snickerdoodles, banana/date bites - sooo good and SO MUCH FOOD.
our waiter was amazing, it was a fun first-time experience, and I did not get sick!
Had a rough experience to begin with here and not sure why. They have also changed their hours so best to call ahead. Was really looking forward to this eating here but after making our order to my surprise it came out with regular bread for the cheese fondue. Although the rest of the meal was fine and they came back out with gf bread (probably Udi’s not sure) I felt it was unsafe! Next they came out with the main course and the sauces and that was sent back because they included teriyaki not gf! There are very few things on the menu that are gf! My daughter who lives in another state tried it too and it was bad news for her too! If you eat here be prepared! Our servers were nice and not sure what happened but will have second thoughts about eating here again unfortunately because I have some very fond memories
