Fondue with gf beer, great, but it tasted awful. I think they were fine w gf, even did a dessert though. It just was not good though (i didnt try the dessert so tht may have been good).
My brother worked here and said that the people in the back always mess up and contaminate "gluten free" ingredients. If you have celiac, definitely don't go here.
Six from our party of eight had food allergies and other dietary concerns. Our server and the owners went out of their way to accommodate multiple requests and be sure we all were safe and satisfied. Highly recommend.
I love that everything gluten free here is save. I haven't had a bad reaction to it yet. Been here about three times already. The waiters are very informed and are really helpful with the information!

Wow! We haven’t been here in 10 years. I looked at their menus the other day, realizing they now did gluten free I was so excited to be able to take our son. We had a table of 3 and we all did gluten free so there was no cross contamination. They were so accommodating! Bonus they don’t charge extra for GF! we will def be back.
Went for my anniversary and it was wonderful! We had the California salad, Wisconsin Cheddar cheese fondue, and the Bananas Foster chocolate fondue. They really understand Celiac and all was done well, except that the waiter brought out a plate of non-gluten free dippers with dessert. I figured it out before we ate it though because there were just too many options there for it to be GF. The cheese fondue was made with Red Bridge beer and the dippers that came with it included a brownish GF bread (as opposed to the gluten filled white), apples, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and grape tomatoes. The chocolate fondue dippers had a gluten free angel food cake, marshmallows, bananas, strawberries, and pineapple.
We had an excellent experience. Wendy, Kristen, and a gentleman whose name we didn’t catch (but worked previously in healthcare /GI ) were knowledgeable about gluten free requirements and went out of their way to provide a gluten free dining experience.
Tried a new thing last night for Valentine's day. The food was good, and for the most part it was fun. We made sure to inform the restaurant when we made the reservation that I had celiac disease, they said they would be able to easily accommodate me and they would write down a note. We also told our waiter as soon as we sat, we told him that because we would be sharing the pot my husband's food would be gluten free as well because cross contamination was a big issue for me. Despite all of this prepping the waiter still brought out honey WHEAT bread, croutons on my salad, raviolis and a meat that was not gluten free! I had to babysit my waiter the whole night! Twice they turned off the burner and forgot to turn it back on making our food pot cool, and impossible to cook our main course. To add insult to injury the Valentine's day package included a picture. The picture is awful, the low lighting plus flash resulted in an extremely washed out shot. Not worth the very high price.
The staff made every effort to make sure that my experience was gluten free and had options for every course. They even have gluten free bread for the cheese fondue and gluten free brownies & snickerdoodles for the chocolate fondue. A wonderful experience!!
Update: This more recent time they did give us a bit more food, which was nice. It seems to vary from each location and also just each visit is a tad different. The prices are still high, but the food is good. I have been here many times. This place is expensive but the food is very good. They have recently changed a few things though. We used to get a lot of food so we would leave very full and felt it was worth the money. But now, they do not give you as much food so I was not full when I left. Since it is so expensive, and now we get less food, it makes me not want to go back.
Update- Had dinner there 1/3/19. They were fantastic. They have gf down and are extremely knowledgeable. I had a great meal. I had dinner there two days ago 6/19/18. It was amazing. I dined with non-celiac friends so needless to say I was concerned about cross contamination. It was great! We had cheese and chocolate, which were both gluten free. Instead of having the whole table deal with the gluten free dippers ( bread), I opted to get separate bowls to put my cheese and chocolate selections in although there was no way to keep it hot. I took my portion first. They brought out separate dippers for me on a glass tray, not the wooden one. The waiter told me about each ingredient as he put everything together. They used Udis multigrain rolls which worked well with the cheese along with apples and veggies. I also got GF brownies, snickerdoodles, and marshmallows to go with my fruit for the chocolate. Would give them ten stars if possible. Amazing food and experience. They even have cocktails marked! Plus gf bread, cupcakes, and brownies for dessert. Most of the menu is gf and they are very competent in cross contamination. Did not get sick and left stuffed. I recommend a reservation though.
Omg people this is the best place in the world such a beautiful food experience they have the best options for gluten allergies if you can get your own burner u don't have to worry about getting contaminated by the people in you crowd it was so awesome my kids loved it everyone has to go there at least once
They really know what they're doing in regard to GF, but also in regard to extracting money from you! This may be my wife's favorite restaurant but it sure is a lot of cash to dip stuff in cheese. I am happy to let her go with her friends so my wallet hurts less.
I ordered gluten free at the bar area where they do cheese and chocolate fondue - and salads After I told the server I was celiac with our cheese order - and we had the same server for our cheese course as our chocolate course —— we were then given wheat “dippers” for the dessert. I almost dipped a wheat treat in the chocolate when he came back and asked “would you like to have gluten free dippers”. AAAARRGGHHH. I spoke to the manager before leaving and asked him to please bring this up at the next employee meeting. They should have comped our dessert for this scary of a mistake and close call.... and didn’t. We won’t be back.
Our server was very knowledgeable and made sure everything at the table was gluten free for our anniversary dinner. My husband had to eat gluten free but the only thing he missed wad the teriyaki sirloin. They knew that nothing containing gluten could go in the pot with my food. They also had a gluten free dessert plate for the both of us. It includes brownies, pound cake, marshmallows, strawberry, banana and pineapple. Great experience!
My best gluten free experience! Everything GF is clearly marked on the menu, which is most of the menu. All sauces and salad dressings are GF. They brought me out GF bread to go with the cheese fondue and a special GF plate with brownies and pound cake with the chocolate fondue. I’d definitely go back!
Great experience with many gluten free options. Be mindful of dining with non gluten free people since you share oil and chocolate (you get 1-2 burners depending on party size). But this can be worked around by pouring chocolate and cheese on your plate rather than dipping and cookie glutened options last (and asking for multiple burners)
Amazing!!! 4 course meal, all gluten free! Everything from gluten free bread for our cheese fondue to gluten free pound cake and gluten free brownies for our chocolate fondue! Our server was very careful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend- just tell your server you need the table to be gluten free from the start.
Yes they have gluten free choices, but the service is so painfully slow and food is overpriced. If someone else at your table wants gluten they need a separate pot, which seemed to keep confusing my server. She kept saying we could pick two cheeses or two sauces and all share. No we can't. I have an allergy!! Wanted to strangle her by the end of the night for constantly telling my gluten eating friends that they could use my pot. It took us 4 hours to be served our 4 courses and we were clearly trying to rush things along and get out of there. Two hours to get a refill on my coffee. No joke. Slow and incompetent service.
All I can say is WOW!! This was our first time eating here and decided to go to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations for 7pm and were seated as soon as we arrived. We tried to take a selfie outside the restaurant on our “date night” and the man opening doors came out and offered to take our picture. Our waitress/cook was Raven. She was absolutely AMAZING! Literally the best service we had the whole week! My husband has celiac so we ate together. Raven was very knowledgeable about GF options. We got the 4 course meal. We started with the Fiesta Cheese Fondue with Redbridge beer base. WOW!! I could have made this my whole meal! Next came our house salads. Again, the freshest salad I had eaten all week! Our main course was filet, sirloin, and dry rub pork. So tender and delicious! Last, but certainly not least, we got the dark chocolate fondue. It came with strawberries, marshmallow,s gf cake bites and gf brownie bites. THE. BEST. MEAL. EVER! Not only was the meal wonderful, our waitress was amazing and answered all of our questions and concerns. Highly recommend and will be returning!
Horrible. The waiter had no clue about cross contamination. The whole place was really outdated and reeked of fryer grease. I ended up excusing myself early and rushed home to shower from the stench. Worst dining experience of my life.
I was impressed with the extensive GF items on this menu. Clear indications on the main menu. Tons to choose from even though there is lots of sharing. Only issue issue is that all parties sharing pot will need to get the GF items if your avoiding cross contamination.
Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the gluten free offerings and helped me navigate the menu. I felt totally secure that what I was eating was safe, and the menu is well marked. My cousin and I shared the meal, so we just made sure everything she ordered was also gluten free. The chocolate fondue and gluten free dessert dippers were incredible!!!!
This was our first time at the melting pot. They did not explain what it was or what was going to happen. They just said to pick your cheese, pick a salad and pick meats. The waiter did not explain the meat would be brought to us raw and we would cook it in vegetable broth. Boiled meat? Who eats boiled meat? For $30 sum per person for just the meat course. It should have been cooked by the chef for that price. We left.
The staff was fantastically knowledgeable and conscientious. They used gluten free beer for the base of our cheese dip. Chocolate fondue included cupcakes and brownies that were very tasty. Previous reviews of not GF friendly are several years old. Our experience was out of this world!
We did our entire table gluten free and they did a great job. Many GF options including bread and desserts. They gave us the option of a two burner table which would allow my son to gluten free and the rest is the family to have non gluten free options.
Such a fun place when you are looking to turn a meal into an event. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Just have to go with others who understand gf as pots are shared at the table.
Amazing food. The cheese with their gluten free bread was so good. I got shrimp, the duck,tuna, and filet mignon. They had so many Gluten free options and the desert was seriously AMAZING best brownie and snickerdoodle cookie pieces I've ever had. I wanted to ask for extras to take home. It was so good. I'm trying to find a good reason to go back because it is expensive but so worth it.
