The Mint Cafe

I used to eat here pre Celiac and the cafe is awesome. However when I went back today and asked about gluten free food, the waitress kindly told me it would be safe for me to eat there.

They don't have gluten free roasters for their items. Their grills are all cross contaminated. I did go with some coffee and a fruit cup and I greatly appreciate the waitress being so upfront.

If you have Celiac or cannot have any cross contamination, do not eat anything other than the fruit cup.

Such delicious food, and a really fun, cute atmospheric place to eat. Really accommodating of my multiple food allergies! Specifically, any of the sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread. I sat next to the kitchen- was able to see and hear how careful they were about keeping my order gluten free.

Fabulous! GF bagels & bread with our omlets.

They don't have many options, but they know their limitations and were able to warn me that the GF bagels are made in the same toaster.

They were excellent at communicating with me and the kitchen to let them know to be careful while preparing my omelet.
