This is a long-established pub restaurant just on the edge of Chichester city centre, a short walk from the main shopping area. The menu is clearly signposted from a celiac point of view. I told our server that I have to be gluten-free by necessity and not by choice; she came back from the kitchen to check that certain ingredients in a sauce were ok. That reassured me no end and I felt they know what they are doing here. The food and drink were good too. It is a large and - not surprisingly - popular restaurant in the back of a very welcoming traditional pub. I first ate here on a visit to Chichester before the pandemic lockdowns. It was good to find in 2024 that it is still going strong.
