Got horribly sick after eating here, first sickness encounter in six months. Based on my sensitivity I'd say the gluten exposure was more than cross-contamination. My partner ordered almost the same thing and she did not get sick. (She is gluten tolerant).
They offered a physical menu which was GF and I ordered off of it. We ordered a roll with the gluten sauce on the side. Used Tamari as a soy substitute. Ordered Coconut Curry with beef, which was marked as GF. Had a conversation with the server about GF.
Sadly, would not risk again.

Best sushi in South Lake Tahoe. Ask for the Gluten free menu and tamari labeled gluten free. Knowledgeable staff for celiac safe. Creative rolls available safe for gf. Try the simple spicy crab. Best I've ever had. Also the specialty scallop roll both gluten free. Also got salmon sashimi platter but truffle aioli and ponzu taken off for gf safety. Still great with the capers and pickled red onions. No reaction hours later.

Has a gluten free menu highlighting all of their gluten free sushi options. They are also good about making substitutions so with a little tweaking you can make additional rolls GF. Also have tamari (gf soy sauce) and amazing cocktails. Everything was delicious and both my sister and I have Celiac's and did not get sick.
