Good selection of bakery items and more, everything labeled. Got three pastries to split, and they were all alright. We came in relatively late in the day though so many of the more popular pastries were sold out. I think if you want the best experience, go earlier in the day.

This is a dedicated gluten free place Items are marked vegan, dairy free, nut free. They have seasonal foods like fried fish during lent. The baked goods here are wonderful. I especially love the soft pretzels, fish sandwiches, gravy and biscuits and crème horns. There are always new desserts to try plus the regular items like cupcakes, sugar cookies, and donuts

Service was great! I've eaten there several times, because it's so difficult to find soyfree food. I usually get cinnamon rolls (with butter added) and quiche of some kind, although I recently bought a sackful of goodies to take home and freeze, which included a huge, moist brownie and a pumpkin snickerdoodle. I ate the brownie and cookie before I got home! Always great - never has soy (and the cinnamon roll is moist before they add the butter for me - they normally do not contain butter).

Ordered for the first time this week! Phenomenal gluten free donuts. I have not had a donut in 12 years, since my celiac diagnosis. They were so delicious! And I was able to pick up locally!!! Can't wait to place another order.

Driving through from Indiana and stopped here for a quick bite. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! My boyfriend got the GF chicken and waffles and said it was the best chicken he has ever had. The waffles were amazing too, super fluffy. I got the bird bowl and it was fabulous! If we ever drive through the area again we will absolutely stop again!

Went yesterday had the most fluffy blueberry pancakes ever!! that combined with eggs of your choice and sausage links. super yummy and filling! I wanted to eat it all but i was too full. I am celiac, and I am also a celiac that is sensitive to oats so I stay away from them. the waitress/cook assured me there was none in the pancakes. Great experience, would go again!

A dedicated gluten-free bakery with options for other allergens as well. Every product has passed rigorous safety and quality standards. This is THE place to go for your weekly staples of breads, biscuits, donuts, and cakes. There are delicious soft pretzels that work great as sandwich buns, bagels, seasonal flavors of cupcakes and whoopie pies, and delicious macarons. It’s a joy to shop in a bakery where every product on the shelf is celiac-safe!

UPDATED 5/25/23 Oh, the additions they’ve made here! Quiche is available daily and Saturday brunch (8 am- 2 pm) includes biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles. The case is filled daily with familiar favorites to keep you coming back, and enough variety that you will want to stop in weekly just to see what’s new.

Such a cute space with a variety of GF baked goods and also mixes to take home and make yourself. The donuts were outstanding! Cinnamin rolls were best I have EVER tried!! Definitely a place to stop if you are in the area! The staff was nice and made us aware of ingredients also in their baked goods.

Got the pancakes (only offered every other weekend, alternating with biscuits and gravy). They were light and fluffy and plenty of food with eggs and sausage. Delicious! Stocked up on some backed goods to take home (I’m from out of town). Definitely will stop here the next time I am in the area.

This is a dedicated gf bakery, I have never had a reaction from eating anything made there! I am a very sensitive celiac, but because there is no gluten present, there’s no risk of cross contact!

Their products have went downhill. Chocolate products lack depth in flavor which isn't difficult to achieve with a bit of coffee added. Many products are gummy. Technically gluten free however plenty of better options elsewhere.

I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. A dedicated GF facility with dairy-free, keto, and vegan options. The owner and staff are friendly and more than happy to chat/ answer questions. The welcoming atmosphere and stellar treats keep me coming back for more. Love it!! Must try: DF cream puffs, lemon bars, pumpkin rolls, vegan quiche, & frozen egg noodles (the perfect addition to homemade soups).

The Nest is amazing!! The cinnamon rolls are delicious and moist! The staff is friendly and the owner is super!! Everything we ordered was so good! It was so comforting being able to eat without fear and have delicious treats!! We definitely will be back!!

Omg, I love this place. It is a true gem for us gf people. Her Apple cinnamon rolls are to die for. My non gf family were even fighting over one. I also got a scrappie cup and enjoyed it as well. Will for sure be back!!!

The owner was incredible. She took the time to explain her ingredients to us to confirm that the food was safe for myself and my friend to both eat, and was lovely as ever when engaging in conversation with us. Friendly and professional would both be understatements to describe her and her shop! If you have a chance to check her out locally, please do so! It is absolutely worth the visit and her prices are beyond fair!

If you're in the Dayton area, DEFINITELY check out this bakery. My sister-in-law introduced me to this place shortly after I was diagnosed with celiac. Everything is gluten free and has great taste and texture, nothing gritty at all. The cinnamon rolls are the best I've ever had, and I have yet to be dissapointed with anything I've had here. They also offer some baking mixes, which is super useful, since grocery stores don't always carry enough GF baking mixes. I can't recommend this place enough!

Oh my goodness! My husband and I came across this dedicated gluten free bakery tonight and had the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had! We also got some hot pretzels, bread, english muffins, and biscuits. I guess I’m going to have to take more walks to burn off all this amazing food.

I thought I'd leave a real review because I don't know anyone that gets five stars always. I will say I'm very pleased with the bread she provides for a local diner, 416 Diner. I went and had a chicken salad sandwich and a couple times I thought maybe I got the wrong bread it was so good! It's great that things are soy free and you can get dairy free. I've tried a fair amount of things. Crackers, cookies, cupcakes. Rice crispie treats. Some I like some I don't, that is personal preference. One I remember I liked was a peanut butter Girl Scout copy cat. Hit the spot! I haven't been able to order from her due to the restrictions on when to order and when to pick up.

I currently eat GF to support my wife who needs to. So when I say this is incredible food I mean both GF and NON-GF. I have routinely served The Neighborhood Nest's food to people without telling them it's GF until the end of the meal. They are always shocked. From the cookies to the bread to everything else you cannot go wrong. Oh and do yourself a favor in life and get some Cheese-Crack. Oh and if you need something special (other than GF) ask she probably can do it. Diary Free, Grain free, Keto. She's got it ALL.

Everything I've had is amazing. Her bread is the first gluten free bread I've ever eaten without having to toast. It's soft and light like normal bread. I've been dying for a cinnamon roll for 2 years. I had hers last night! They were amazing but best if you warm them until they are ooey and gooey again like right out of the oven. To die for. I haven't had anything she makes that you would ever know it was gluten free. I would highly recommend you try this place out.

The Neighborhood Nest is a phenomenal bakery. I do not have celiac disease or need to eat a gluten free diet, but I still choose to frequent this bakery over others b/c her items are out-of-this-world DELICIOUS! Amber is a GF savant! If you have prayed that you could once again eat bread, pastries or any other treat made with flour your prayers have been answered. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. She has researched and trialed her recipes to GF perfection. I have no problems with gluten but would eat anything she bakes just because it is just that good. So do yourselves a favor and check her out. Your world will never be the same. If you know someone who is celiac or gluten sensitive then treat them to something special from her heavenly ovens. Her food is not only delicious but it is cooked with lots of love and you all know that is always the best secret ingredient. Just can't say enough about how good she is, you need to check it out yourself.

Neighborhood Nest is so good even those that aren't gluten free love her bakery items... and that says a lot! Her cupcakes and specialty breads are such a big hit in my house I have to hide them or there won't be any left! Baking gf is her passion and has lifted my spirit on several occasions. She proves GF food doesn't have to be awful and can actually taste amazing!
