I used to live very close by and visited frequently. The couple who run it are very friendly and educated. They can do most things gluten free and the food is always spot on. Make sure to book if you have a large group as it is a very small venue.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. It's run by a husband and wife who have a celiac friend, so they know what's up in terms of safety. The best cream tea and scone I had all trip! It's really small so try to go off of the main lunch hour or make a booking. I felt very safe eating here and was very taken care of. Cream scones and cakes have gf options! I'd go back.

Cute family-owned-and-run tearoom/bakery. Have great gluten-free cream tea and afternoon tea options. Also have gluten-free desserts. Awesome service. When we told them most of our party had celiac, the owner talked with us about their gluten-free options and the measures they take to prevent cross-contamination (the owners have a friend with celiac who has trained them on cross-contamination). The cream teas were delicious and no one got sick! They do prefer that you call ahead and make a reservation if you need gluten-free food to give them time to prepare.
