The Old Crown Inn

We went here for Sunday lunch. My son is Coeliac and we hadn't eaten here since he had been diagnosed. I checked when I made the booking and they said they could accommodate him. The menu has GF items stated. He decided on fish and chips, when he ordered and told the waitress he was Coeliac she understood immediately that even though the menu stated GF that more care needed to be taken, she went to check with the chef to ensure the fish and chips were safe for him. They were and he thoroughly enjoyed them! Great service and great food. Although he didn't have the Sunday lunch we were told he could have had it.
