I should've checked the comments before we went... they had roast without gravy and that was it. We left. I do not recommend wasting your time.

I had read reviews that this restaurant was good for gluten free - sadly not! Asked for a gluten free menu on arrival and they said that they didn't have one and couldn't do gluten free as they hadn't had a gluten free bread delivery for a couple of weeks. They then backtracked and said actually the burgers and chips were fine without the bread and could do grilled fish and chips. Asked for the plant burger and chips but checked it there was a dedicated fryer, they said yes but then came back and said actually no it wasn't separate, so I just asked for it with a salad. All seemed fine after that, but 2 hours later I am throwing up, so something there was still not right! So disappointing after reading such good reviews for gluten free.

Knowlegable staff. Food was average in taste, but I love it when I'm able to eat fries, that almost never happens! Good atmosphere.

Very very good food! I had the gluten free fish and chips and the Apple Crumble. They do have a dedicated fryer for gluten free foods. Fun atmosphere and a good gluten free alcohol list as well.

Great find! Classic British pub right in the heart of the tourist area but not too crowded. GF burger and fries were absolutely delicious! Owner is gluten intolerant and very friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent experience. Dedicated fryer with gluten-free fish and chips! Large gluten-free menu and the staff has excellent awareness and knowledge of allergy issues. Absolutely fantastic experience. Only possible issue is the large containers of bar snacks which contain nuts on the bar.

Beautiful pub. Had a Gluten-free menu available that was nearly as big as the main menu. The Fish and Chips was fantastic.

They mentioned they didn't have a menu for a small time due to a major kitchen overall. Worth the trip.

Don’t waste your time stepping foot inside without calling first. Upon arrival, we identified our need for GF food for our Celiac son and we were seated...only to find out the new chef “hasn’t gotten around to doing the GF menu yet.” Coming from America and relying on prior reviews, we were excited for an authentic fish and chips experience. Such a shame to be so disappointed. We can only hope that when the new chef “gets around” to reinstating the GF menu that it will actually be thoughtful and, more importantly, safe.

I came here for some authentic fish and chips, after reading reviews, and finding an announcement for their gf fish and chips on instagram. I came there to find out they did not have gf fish and chips due to adjusting menus. They were very kind about it and made me a plate of smoked salmon, unfortunately, I did not like it, but thats just preferences. Make sure you call them before going to make sure you CAN eat what you want.

Good fish and chips, also two gluten free beers available. Pleasant staff and environment, but at £43 ($73 CAD) for two people with one drink each, considering they were frozen chips, I’m not sure the value for money is there.

By far our favorite place we ate at in London! I don’t know why it didn’t pop up on my phone at home when I was researching - so it was such a fun surprise to find over there! The staff was very knowledgeable, I loved the fish & Chips. Roast chicken was a hit, as was the burger on a GF bun. Even had beer! I did not expect to get to get to have a beer in a pub! Such a fun atmosphere - none of us got sick. Definitely don’t miss this spot!!

This quaint pub has really good gluten free rolls, a dedicated frier for their fries, and knowledgeable staff who ensure you that they take gf very seriously. They don’t have a separate gluten free menu, but they have plenty of options. The food was amazing, and the people I was with who can eat gluten loved their meals. I definitely recommend this place.
