Although they have a GF menu, the meal seems incomplete without a nice crusty bread (there are many great options they could stock, especially from Mariposa Bakery). The same problem with the pasta, only corkscrew pasta, no matter the dish, which makes the clam's linguine somehow not work. Again there are multiple GF pastas available on the market that they could stock. The atmosphere is festive and the service very good, if they update to a fuller GF menu they are all set. For now, too limited and GF seems like an afterthought.
Ordered gluten free yesterday and got sick less than an hour after eating. Server acted knowledgeable but there are obvious cross contamination issues. :(
Their gluten-free pasta is yummy---I enjoyed a 50/50 mix of Mizithra cheese /butter and gluten free Alfredo sauce on their pasta. I like their creamy pesto salad dressing and the spumoni is always a nice treat!!! They make accommodations for preparation of the pasta, and they let you know it's GF by serving your meal with a GF flag-toothpick on the top of it... :-) Their prices aren't bad either... PS their broccoli & mizithra is sadly not GF because of its preparation... Happy Day -
Seperate menu, however the staff isnt very informed about cross contamination
The food was alright. Not much going on at 1 pm and only a couple servers. GF menu available via QR code. Grateful for GF pasta (not spaghetti) so I could enjoy the mizithra & browned butter pasta (as well as meat sauce). One of my favorites and I haven’t been to an Old Spaghetti Factory since my celiac diagnosis. Waiter knew not to put croutons on my salad. No GF bread.
