The manager was very condescending and made sure to tell me that they aren't a gluten friendly restaurant, they just have gluten free pasta
No
I have had the gluten free pasta at this particular Spaghetti factory. I ordered it with the alfredo sauce which they say is a gluten free option. All they do is throw extra cheese onto the pasta with no alfredo sauce. This is the only Spaghetti factory I have gone to that does this. Highly disappointing..the gluten free with alfredo sauce is kind of expensive to only have cheese and no sauce. I will never eat at this particular Spaghetti factory again!

I'm always afraid to have gf pasta in a restaurant because of cross-contamination possibilities, but we ate here last week anyway, and it was delicious! The menu is clearly marked and my server and the hostess were both very knowledgeable about what was gf. My server even verified the cooking process to ease my mind. I was on vacation and did not want to get sick. It was simple, but yummy food. Best of all, no sickness later. And they give you ice cream for dessert. GF of course!
Yes
Mediocre food but they have a GF menu and food comes out with a flag, so you know your getting the right meal. I'd go across the street to Cheesecake Factory or Roy's if you are in the neighborhood, but if you have a GF kid looking for Mac n cheese it works. Staff is kind.
I have eaten at this particular Old Spaghetti Factor a few times now and have been happy each time. The brown butter sauce and Mizithra cheese is very good. Staff seems very knowledgeable and the menu and website clearly depict what is GF. The menu items will come out with GF flags on them so it is clear. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is I would appreciate more selections on the GF menu. Would definitely recommend to others.

I am celiac, I appreciated everything being clearly marked on the menu.. I ordered a bowl of pasta with different sauces and Italian sausage and a side salad, everything came out the way I expected, it was very delicious, and I did not get sick at all. I believe there is a strong possibility of cross-contamination, given that everything on the menu is normally gluttonous unless GF pasta is ordered

The OSF on Watt Ave is NOT Celiac safe at all. Me and daughter got sick even after we said we had Celiac. I suspect they boil the GF pasta in the SAME water as the regular.
No
They are not celiac friendly at all. The waitress told me whwn i ordered that it is celiac friendly and her friend is celiac so she knows. But after eating and feeling the pain 10 minutes later i asked her about how it was cooked and she said they use the same water as the regular noodles to cook their GF pasta. Big no no

I asked the waiter to see a gluten free menu and they brought me one that said gluten friendly and has a disclaimer that there may be cross contamination. I ordered Alfredo pasta which came with a salad. I didn’t get sick. The waiter was aware when I asked about salad dressings and was nice about my requests. They brought out my dish with a toothpick specifying it was a gluten free meal. I won’t frequent, but I would consider it an option next time I am in slc
