A NEW hidden gem, tucked away on Rte 9 North just before the Marlboro Plaza(Kohl's) shopping center. The restaurant is set back off the road a bit and easy to miss if you don't look carefully. This has one of the most elaborate and best gluten free offerings in the area. So large that virtually the entire menu can be made indulgently(opposed to plainly or boringly prepared) gluten free including but not limited to delicious (pork and other types)fried rice, noodle dishes, ribs, crunchy tasty egg rolls, crispy fried/battered calamari and even has plenty of gluten free soy sauce and sweet sauce with gluten free chips(in place of noodles) for the table. Yes! I felt completely equivalent to my gluten eating family. The only items I believe currently not gluten free are the wontons and dumplings. Mimi, the owner, took the time to explain how careful they are at all facets of preparing and serving gluten free food to avoid cross contamination and how she has been serving and perfecting her gluten free dishes for over 20 years and takes gluten free dining extremely seriously. I was completely comfortable eating here. She was careful to serve my food before my family's for safety and was extremely attentive to whatever I or anyone needed during our dining experience. The service was excellent and not only were the gluten free versions delicious and enjoyed by the rest of my family too, the rest of my family raved about their gluten laden dishes as well. We all agreed we have found our new "go to" Chinese restaurant for now on. I recommend if you do try this restaurant(and I highly recommend you do) to take the time to write a review or tell others. With such a great menu and a discreet location, we want to make sure this new restaurant is known to as many people as possible and succeeds to stay in the area a long time so that we may enjoy the plentiful delicious offerings they have.
