My son has celiac disease. Called restaurant beforehand and they seemed to be aware of the issues of cross contamination. We felt reassured and when we got there again reiterated our need for strict gluten free food. Waitress was attentive and went back to the kitchen several times to ask about certain dishes. My son had PEI mussels, mahi-mahi tacos and chocolate truffles for dessert. He unfortunately had a reaction right after.
The restaurant has some items noted as “can be made GF”. We ordered these items and noted our son has celiac. Waiter came back and said even though it says that it is not accurate. Frustrating. At least the waiter checked instead of letting my son get sick.

Has some options (not a bunch) noted on the menu as “can be gluten free” so most things need to be modified to be gluten free. I got the stuffed salmon with mashed potatoes instead of the risotto. Was very yummy and didn’t get sick! Staff told us their was a shared frier with gluten containing items when we called and that I should stay away from any of the fried things, but our waiter didn’t seem to understand that, as I was asking what was safe to eat I said “I know they already told me so stay away from fried things” but she told me it was ok because they use a different batter, and so I mentioned the shared frier to her. And was slightly concerned, but she did then double check some thing with the chef for me! So while there is gluten free options, not all the wait staff may be super knowledgeable!

limited gluten-free options but the food was good. no gluten free soups. heavy on pepper to our taste.
They are able to answer questions and accommodate gluten free. Many menu items are already GF, despite not having an actual GF menu. Our waitress was knowledgeable. Plus I love the atmosphere and views.
